Ginger O'Day has to be the most patient and understanding bitch in all the land. Most dogs would've mauled their owner's face off if they were constantly being dipped, dyed and drag queen-ed up. I used to fantasize myself as Speed Racer as well, Race, especially since I drive a convertible. That is, until I took a very sharp turn at high speed and the car swiveled twice before hitting the side of a concrete post.
Miraculously, I escaped unscathed, with only a busted front tire to replace. It was a most sobering experience because if someone had been standing by that post, they would most certainly have been killed.
Remembering that incident tempers my need for speed.
