I blame nearly all of Jessica's problems on her inability to mature and get rid of her father. Fathers should be fathers and not money-grubbing, child-pimping, career-wrecking dadager. The same holds true for mothers.
Jessica has some seriously unresolved daddy-issues that interfere with her having a healthy relationship with a man.
