From Ice Princess To Meth Queen
Figure skater Nicole Bobek, a former U.S. Champion, was busted in New Jersey for her role in a major New Jersey meth ring! Hmmm... Nope, Tonya Harding still holds the crown as the biggest piece of hot trash who used to be a figure skater. But nice try, Nicole.
The New York Daily News reports that BoBo (I'm sure that was her dealer name) was arrested in Jupiter, FL last week and brought to New Jersey to faces charges for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Nicole pleaded not guilty and is currently sitting in a cell on $200,000 bail.
The prosecutor handling the case said BoBo “played a significant role in this operation. She was actively involved in the upper echelon of this ring." If found guilty, Nicole could get up to 10 years in the chokey.
If Nicole goes to the clink, she should just tell the butchies that she once licked on Tonya Harding's pulled pork sandwich. That bit of information should keep the snatches off of her for a while. Or maybe that will turn them on even more....

NOOOO!!!!! Not Nicole Bobek, I loved her! She was the only good lookin' skater, she always had a tan & her legs were gorgeous! Now, this is why I stopped turning to CNN for my news and only read Dlisted....I can count on Michael K to report all the news that is worth knowing!

They should start a tour... "Disney Presents: Methheads on Ice". Surely they could round up enough skaters. I'm not sure what methheads do with their time, but whatever it is, it would be set to music with fun costumes. And each show would be like two days long.

I remember going to this meth-heads apt. for some weed. It was a studio and he had tons of saws all over the place. Bench, Band, Circular, Chop w/ wood chips everywhere. My cousin was her best friend growing up until 1997. Her skating career got bigger and my cousin was going to UC Davis they just naturally drifted apart. I'm totally shocked that she would have anything to do with this. Nicole has always been a very nice girl with an outstanding family. I sincerely hope that this is not true.
She was my favorite of the 90s skaters. Her combination of athleticism and grace was amazing. When she on, there was no one better, but she never had the confidence in herself she so desperately needed. She would have won the Olympics in '98 had her coach not died right after arrival.
I have no sympathy for her role in this, if indeed she played one, and I don't condone it, but it's sad to see her fall so far. :(
