Ha! Cunning. If he was so cunning why do y'all hate him so much? You'd think someone so cunning and so longing for fame would have avoided that. Alright yeah true a child molestor can be the "normal" looking nice guy. But a child molestor can also be a fucked up looking person who looks like Michael Jackson. Damn.

2nd case couldn't be bought off, too much damning evidence. His defense destroyed the parent's reputations.

I don't doubt for a minute the 2nd kid's parents were opportunistic, but I believe MJ was a special kind of sickness who couldn't help himself and knew that his celebrity would save him.

He certainly did display the hallmarks of a predator. He built a playland for children, selected a few that seemed the most vulnerable to share his special secrets and bed. He was cunning.

It is truly sick the lengths people will go to make him seem like a tortured individuals. Most predators are themselves tortured individuals who were also victimized in their past and later repeating the cycle.

Thornhill, in an interview, he said his lawyers advised him to give them whatever they wanted becasue the press had already been unkind to him for the previous few years and the leaked info. would only provide more negative publicity. I mean, it's easy for all of us to go "oh, if he wasn't guilty, he shouldn't have done that." But that's my exact point. That in and of itself shows he doesn't have the personality type of a sociopath/predator. A true sociopath would not only have fought the charges until the very end, he would have assasinated the child's character in court AND possibly even have represented his damn self in court. The ego would have driven a true sociopath to behave that way. OJ is a sociopath, people. MJ is NOT.

If anything, MJ can only be accused of being a pussy by paying off the kid just to avoid bad publicity. Again, paying someone to not say anything bad about you does NOT make you a child molester.

Also, what the FUCK kind of mother, if she truly thought someone hurt her child so deeply to the point of breaking his spirit, would sell her child's body for $22 million is BEYOND me. UNBELIEVABLE.

I'm just warning you guys. Look beyond the fucked up exterior to be able to really know what a predator is. I was victimized by one for 4 years of my childhood. When I finally told a counselor at school and she told my mother, my own fucking mother didn't even believe me for a while because he was such a "great guy" "normal" "polite" "kind" "wouldn't hurt a fly." He had a near PERFECT fucking reputation. These are exactly the monsters that will hurt your children, people.

Honestly, I think everyone recognizes that Miss Thang is not a professional but what she's saying is PARTIALLY right. Maybe not totally. I think she's feeling protective and I can understand that...It's true. Molesters can look like anything. But as a psychiatrist you must know that assuming a person is guilty of one weirdness becuz of other weirdnesses doesn't make sense either. You must recognize that those other weirdnesses COULD, in fact, be attributed to neuroses not involving pedophilia at all. Right?

Hmmmm...I think providing minors with alcohol to the point where they could easily name the beverages being given to them, having pornography in a briefcase that the kids clearly knew about, and showing a keen interest in young boys (never a girl) is a pretty good indication that all wasn't right at Neverland. The kids in question never wavered from their story and recalled detail 3 years later that didn't change. Some called it remarkable.

So go ahead and cling to your belief that it was all character assassination and that we all just think he looked strange. He spent the latter part of his life trying to become comastose, trying to remove any evidence that he was ever black (and then lied about it), had numerous surgeries (and lied about it), and children he claimed were biological (clearly a lie), and on and on.

Hey Zomay, as a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I feel responsible to let parents know that MJ did NOT fit the profile of a molester. Sure he had eccentric behaviors, but it scares me when people equate looking and acting like a freak with being dangerous to children. It simply doesn't work like that. A man who molests children would never ever in a gazillion years ever admit that he let a kid sleep in his bed.

Also, I have to ask, as a mother, if your kid told you they were molested, wouldn't you report it to the police first? Why would anyone in their right mind talk to a lawyer about the situation first? Unless of course you were trying to concoct a story to take advantage of one of the wealthiest men in the world.

I can't deal with the Michael thing anymore. Over breakfast today, in a packed restaurant, my sister started up about Michael. She has been talking and crying everyday about Michael. I finally could not take it anymore and said, "Look he was a great performer, he made some great songs, but he was not a deity, and he has been a walking zombie for 15 years. And to be honest, now that I am a parent, I get kind of angry over the child rumors. " She freaks out and calls me an angry human.
