Here's a bunch of amazing highlights from a 1994 documentary called Wildwood, NJ. This shit really makes me wish that I grew up in New Jersey! These classy and refined individuals could have taught me so much about life! I wasted my best years at Barbizon, when I could have been educated by the masters of elegance. cammi- Our pediatrician told me not to cater. Obviously some spices/flavors aren't kid friendly but I make an entree that there's no reason my kids shouldn't eat (won't is another story), a vegetable they will eat and put whole grain bread on the table. If they eat the entree, great. If not, oh well. Food's a tough battle and I too got tired of frozen/fried/breaded "kid" food. I make pasta and lasagna, home-make chicken nuggets and oven fried chicken, turkey burgers, tacos, wraps, etc.
My three year old is VERY picky but his doctor said to get him out of the habit of getting what he wants and if he doesn't eat a dinner entree, no harm done. The point is to not cater and not make it a battle.

Does it look 'clean'? like no cracks, lil' crystals in it w/ the naked eye. If it looks clean its probably glass.
but aquamarine stones (just looked up in one of edumakational books) are eye clean or have slight inclusions

It looks *very* clean with tiny rough edges on the side cuts, indicating brittlenss, so yeah, probably glass. It's soft, like an "emerald" ring I bought from The Emerald Fox - emerald colored stones made from volcanic ash. (i.e., GLASS).
I have a couple other London Blues and they have a slightly wax-y look to them.
How does glass stand up to the pressure of the prongs - i.e., why aren't there cracks at the pressure points? Ah forgot my loupe @ home today. Doesn't matter. Love the ring and the gold was worth the price.
