i have been living in spain for the last 4 years and she failed to mention the plethora of annoyances that come with living in old buildings (pretty much no one owns a clothes dryer, your shower runs out of hot water after 15 minutes, and every gd building is infested with cucarachas), the fact that the whole country is one big clusterf#ck when it comes to any sort of bureaucratic matter, and salaries are about 1 tenth of those in the states, despite rent being comparable in price. methinks that a millionaire visiting spain is quite a bit different from actually living here! dumb bitch. work on your shitty accent!

Also as long as cheap and shoddy materials and building methods are used, the buildings will not last anyway. We live in a disposable society and that includes buildings, history, morals and respect for the past.

Spain is a beautiful country with a relaxed realistic LIFE that involves FAMILY and Friends, 3 hour siestas daily, gay marriage is legal, healthcare is socialized medicine that works, people are much slower in their pace of life as compared to NY'ers and their kids arent raised by Grand Theft Auto & myspace.
Im in complete agreement with her fishy ass and I was living there just @ a middle class level , it really is a paradise when you are paid like this nunnymuggin.
I lived there from Nov'01- March02and it was the most wonderful Xmas I ever had, ALL stores/ businesses were shut for 5 days so everyone could have time off and enjoy the holidays. Imagine that happening here in cash grubbing / materialistic America.
