I can handle that they're not following the books, I just hate that they're completely changing Eric's character from the way he is in the books.

This season is actually following the books more than last season or just as much. The books are out in left field. I think people are going to have a hard time with this show if it sticks to the books. The major changes are bringing new characters in or making minor charcters larger.
I don't think people understand how f'uped the books are (in a totally romance novel kind of way)

I'm glad they aren't following the books. I'm a huge fan of Lafayette and I enjoy Tara's storyline, characters that don't have much storyline in the books early on. Plus, I'm really hoping they don't turn TV Sookie into "Sookie Drew" like she has become in the book.
