I was watching tv and some researchers were recounting an experiment in which a person was put in a room of actors. They would do something outrageous like show the color blue and ask, what color is this? All the actors would say, "orange" or something. Initially, the subject (the only non-actor) would respond with the correct answer -- blue. But after awhile, he would break and just start saying whatever everyone else said, though he knew the truth. I don't know what the conclusion to this experiment was -- that he wanted to fit in?
