Ugh. Well, fine, you can say it's also 'cause he's a nice guy and you like that he's great with his kids and all that other Make-A-Wish Foundation crap, but there is still a large legion of fans who think he's physically perfect. That's what I was addressing. Personally, he seems like a nice guy, and as down-to-Earth as someone like him is going to get. I didn't say he's an asshole, I said I personally don't find him that hot, and in these pictures he's downright butt, symmetrical features or no.

Apparently Depp took his cast out for a dinner after the movie and the bill was $4500, he not only paid the whole bill but left the waiter a $4000 tip.

He and Vanessa Paradis are probably my fave Hollywood couple. I love how he talks about her and about his kids. You can tell that he loves them all more than anything, and that is sexy as hell.

I wouldn't...I genuinely think his face is perfectly aligned...He may look a little greasy/ creepy/douchey here, but there is no denying his features are attractive, whether he is a celeb or not. Plus, he comes off as a really decent kind of guy which adds to his appeal.

I love me some both of them, but I think Clarisse will take this one because she probably wants it more. MissJane might get distracted if someone flashed an RPatz in front of her and Clarisse would go in for the kill. But I hope they both take the tragic ordeal that Perez has been through to heart and know that violence is never the answer. :0)

Ricki, it's not just his looks that make him appealing. It's everything else about him. The fact that I've never seen his kids paraded in front of the spotlight, that he visits childrens hospitals (in costume, no less), leaves 4k dollar tips, etc all make him totally awesome in my book. There may very well younger, more attractive men out there, but considering that Depp is one of the most famous people in Hollywood and isn't a douchebag or self-aggrandizing the way so many other celebs are, well, that makes him a thousand times more appealing than some young stud muffin hotshot. And personally, I think physically he's hot as all hell. :)

I totally agree. He looks gross in these pictures. Depp is a great actor, and he does stay out of the tabloids, but something about him just doesn't do it for me, and I think it's because everyone loves him no matter what he does. Again, if it were anyone else, they'd be bringing up his days of trashing hotel rooms even though he's reformed since then. No one is perfect. Depp can have a bad hair day, people.

I don't think he looks the best he has ever looked (don't kill me). But, I do think he is incredibly sexy....and Bale, good lord what i would do to that man. *Prepares to fight Clarisse*

Johnny Depp has previously said that money isn't the key to happiness.

But during a visit to a Chicago restaurant, the star certainly brought joy to one unsuspecting waiter with a reported sizable tip.

Depp, his "Public Enemies" co-star Marion Cotillard, director Michael Mann, along with about a dozen other folks -- who were in Chicago last week for the premiere of their new gangster movie -- made a stop at Gibsons Steakhouse around 11:30 PM, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Once the bill came around 2:30 AM -- totaling up to a reported $4,400 -- Depp made sure the man who waited on the group into the late hours was well compensated for his time, as Mohammaed A. Sekhani reportedly received a $4,000 tip from the star.

"He had visited our restaurant several times before while he was filming 'Public Enemies' and he promised me that he would return after the premiere," Sekhani told Radar Online.

According to the longtime Gibsons waiter, Depp and his friends ordered items including shrimp cocktails, Clams Casino, as well as a few expensive bottles of wine.

"He also ordered some $500 bottles of Italian wine and he was in good spirits throughout the evening chatting with Mr. Mann and Miss Cotillard," Sekhani added.

Generous tip aside, Sekhani said he always enjoys waiting on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star each time he visits Gibsons.

"Because he had visited us before he calls me 'Mo' and I know exactly the way he likes to be treated. He may be one of the most famous actors in the world but he is a very 'humble guy' and a really cool dude," the waiter continued. "I have worked with a lot of stars like Sean Connery and Robert De Niro but Johnny Depp is my favorite He is a very soft spoken guy who is very charming and sweet -- when I wait for him he doesn't like to be too fussed over and is not in any way demanding."
