Mimi's Duet With Auto-Tune
Mimi's first single off her new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (which is also the title of my 6th grade diary) came out today and it sounds like it came out 5 years ago. Same butterfly shit. Almost. Mimi decided to sprinkle this with a heaping serving of auto-tone. Although, this shit is not a total wash.
Just when I was about to quit this song and cleanse my ears with some Eden's Crush, I hear Mimi scream at 3:30 mark, "He's all up in my George Foreman!!!!!" AHAHAHAHA. I haven't heard that shit in years since some cholita said that to me while I was going through her ladybug backpack (she was going through a phase). This song is fine by me just for that lyric!
And you better get used to this mess, because it's probably going to be #1. You will hear it blasting through Walgreens every time you go in there to pick up condoms and Diet Shasta.

She was once able to sing really good- why is she joining Cher and Heidi Montag with this computer voice crap? Sounds like part of the trashy tunes that summ up the charts these days.

I think as you get older, your voice just gets weaker...look at whitney. But in the same token, Celne still sounds pretty good so I dunno..maybe it has something to do with crack.

I'm with MS on this one. She used to be such a great MELODIC singer, now it's the same 2 or 3 note hiphop bullshit. GOD, I'm tired of the droning 2-note crap, I never really liked her music, but admired her talent and ear for a good song.
No more. She's singing songs meant for someone 20 years her junior.

As for the song, meh. It's just what I'd expect from Mariah. She never changes anything about herself-she's had the same hair, the same too-small clothes, the same songs, for years now. She's boring.
IDK, am I the only one who thinks Mariah needs to hang it up? I mean she's made like ten albums and every single one of them sounds exactly alike. She's forty years old for chrissake, who the hell is singing about someone being obsessesed with her at forty? You should be over that shit by that age.
