Funny, I live in California and am in Arizona all the time. I've seen many a fight where nobody was carted off afterward. I guess your coppers aren't as on the ball as you think.

I live in the United States, in a red one, in fact. If you are an adult and you punch someone, you get charged with assault and battery. THE FIRST TIME.

If you so much as touch a person who has warned you not to touch them, you CAN be charged with assault.

Even yelling at someone is grounds for a charge of assault - it's called VERBAL ASSAULT and it is illegal.

Please tell me what state you live in where all that violence goes unchecked? So I can avoid it...
