Jon & Kate's dramz is on the cover of 4 magazines this week and that's kind of a good thing. I mean, the more attention Kate's raggedy beast hair gets, the better. Maybe this can convince other women to visit their local JcPenney salon and ask for the "Gosselin." The world really needs more special needs beaver heads roaming the land. Anycunty....
It's been Gosselin fevah these past couple of weeks and it's reaching a boiling point. It's called publicity, people! You gotta pass that pussay to sell a book. The truth!
Most of the covers focus on Kate's maybe affair with her married silver fox bodyguard who looks like he grits his teeth when he cums. UsWeekly says that the two aren't doing much to hide their horniness for each other (why did I type that?). One source said, "She was gently poking him, giving him little love pats, totally unlike the slapping she does with Jon. She and Steve were joking around so much, I actually wondered if they were having an affair. There's a lot of open affection between them."

I have watched a few episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8 and it was enjoyable for the most part. The kids are beyond adorable.
Anyways I feel so bad for the children in this situation. It was obvious to me that Jon who supposedly had/has a job (must be nice to take off so much time because his mug is always in front of a camera but I digress) was more interested in himself as oppose to his kids. I recall one old episode when they went skiing and he was off snowboarding alone.
As for Kate she's too high strung and seemed to resent the fact that the majority of the responsibilities fell onto her shoulders.
It's for the best that they get a Divorce because Kate just seems like the type who will not let it go that Jon was screwing someone else and quite frankly I don't blame her.
I don't even know who these people are. But it's no surprise to me that people who have 8 kids are losers and are cheating on their spouses. It's called delayed gratification. People who can delay gratification are generally pretty successful in life. People who can not, get knocked up with 8 kids because they give into their stupid horny instincts, think it's all going to be OK, that things will just work out, and then a few years later they give into their base instincts again and screw whatever else comes along. They are ghetto trash. Plain and simple.

I believe she will continue to whore her children out and exploit them for as long as she can, regardless of what it costs the family. Its not an ideal situation to go through, but it was better than the alternative, waiting for the next fight, waiting for the screaming or the violence, which filters down to the kids. People who are saying not to be selfish and buck up, consider this: if you are not a good spouse, you cannot be a good parent. Ever. Kids remember when you fuck over their other parent. That resentment doesn't go away. Also, what kind of relationship doyou model? K, I watched my first clips..and these are the ugly moments...but WOW you guys are harsh judges, man! You must ALL be without sin all y'all. Mind you, she IS pretty fucking annoying. But he's no angel either. I think they play off each other, really - like: what came first, the chicken or the egg?...
But really, they seem like most couples I know...and maybe cuz I've always been the single one and I have a lot of married friends with kids...and I watch them. And that's how I feel - I can't believe how they treat each other. Sometimes, I wanna stand up on the kitchen counter and lecture the lot of them...but at the end of the day it's their marriage and they deal with it, somehow...and I'm not gonna pretend I fully understand everything I see. The thing with intimate relationships is...you never know what goes on behind closed doors and when you see what's public, it's without that vital information...
If it IS bad, it's way harder to see (and therefore manage) when you're in it, I think.
My only issue is the whole exploitation. But as a couple - outside of this ESCANDALO - they remind of LOTS AND LOTS of couples. Co-habitating is stressful in general...add kids and it rarely brings out the best in people, fersure.

Statistically the kind of marriages that harm children are ones with active, open conflict (yelling, fighting, physical or emotional abuse etc.) Unhappy marriages that are characterized by apathy and indifference tend not to harm kids that much as long as the parents don't fight in front of them and maintain civil if not wildly romantic relations.
And divorce doesn't necessarily help much if the parents are openly hostile to each other since they often just keep on fighting. I had a high school friend whose father lived in a different city and her parents used to have screaming matches over the phone almost every time they tried to coordinate the logistics of her visits with him. They surely fought less than when they were living together but they couldn't treat each other with respect in any context.
So there's no good solution if parents can't set aside their differences for the sake of the kids. However, that doesn't mean divorce is never wrong sans abuse. My mom has mental health problems and she treated the entire family the way Kate treats Jon. My dad stayed primarily because he was worried that she'd get custody but watching her shred his dignity day after day was awful.
One of the most important lessons parents can teach their kids is not to let people push them around and that being a long-suffering anything will get you nothing. So yeah, try to work it out but if your spouse thinks working it out means that you do all the work and cater to them while they give nothing get out and make sure your kids know not to take shit from anyone.
