Stepford Katie To Star In A Horror Movie
The aliens are going to Melbourne! Hide your barley and cover your asses! Stepford Katie is going to be in Australia this summer to do that acting thing she dabbles in every now and again. How cute. I'm sure Tommy Girl will tag along so he can sample the local peen. He truly is an aficionado of the world of peen.
Anyway, Katie will star in some shit called Don't Be Afraid of the Dark for director Guillermo del Toro. Guillermo directed Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy, so he has a lot of experience when it comes to working with creepy creatures. Stepford Katie is in good hands.
This mess is based on a TV movie from 1973 about a girl who moves in with her father and girlfriend and finds out they are sharing the house with dark-sided creatures from Hell.
Wait. Are we sure this shit isn't a documentary?

I saw the original Don't Be Afraid when I was a Baby Cheese and my uncle used to babysit me. Kim Darby was the housewife alone with a tribe of evil tiny peoples. The ones that scared the beejebus out of me when I was a little cheese was Night of the Living Dead, Let's Scare Jessica to Death and the Exorcist. Zomg, I loved those. Later on it was Suspiria and Evil Dead.
Anyone seen a Japanese movie called the Audition? I think that should qualify as horror.
On topic: She's living a horror movie. This should be easy for her.
This shouldn't be too hard for Katie since she already lives with little creatures.

Katie is a good actress. i know she is hated(have no idea why...maybe by association), but i've seen some of her movies and i enjoyed her performances. Guillermo is an amazing director. loved Pan's labyrinth. can't wait..this will surely be a good movie

HAHA! I freaked myself out w/ "Candyman." I had just moved into a new place, so I rented a bunch of movies to watch while I unpacked. I went to bed w/ a mirror I hadn't yet hung in my bedroom propped up against the wall. I woke up in the middle of the night, staring at the mirror, wondering what would happen if I said "it" 3 times. Then I got scared I'd just think it & he'd still come. I ended up turning the mirror around so I could go back to sleep! DUMB ASS!

about watching zombie-esqe movies by yourself.. two things:
Shaun of The Dead.. really funny @ first with my hubby watcing it with me (he doesnt get British humor so he left after a while) yeah, then it started to get kinda scary towards the end, in which I fast 1X forwarded through..lol
Even worse than that?
Made the mistake of taking Zombie Survival Guide (yeah, the one written by the SNL writer) a little too literally one night and almost read the whole damn thing and freaked out so bad returned it the next day- didnt even want it in my house..
I was prego with #2 at the time and feeling very.. hormonal..

There is a horror movie that I cannot for the life of me remember the name.
There was a girl, with long brown hair and a guy. The scene I remember the most, they were in some house/mansion/building out in the woods and she falls into this pool filled with white liquid, it's got a bunch of skulls and bones in it and maggots I think.

The original scared the crap out of me when I was 7 too but than I saw it a few years ago and it sucked. The little demon guys looked like walking asparagus .
