The World Will Get Another Duggar

As expected, the Duggars made a special announcement on Today this morning. No, they didn't announce that Michelle's uterus finally quit that bitch and they are offering a reward for its safe return. Unfortunately, that was not the announcement. As most of us guessed, Josh Duggar, the oldest ho, is having a BABY!!! with the newest Duggar baby machine Anna. Anna said she's about 3-months knocked up. And it starts......

Josh, 21, and Anna, 20, both said that they are hoping for a large family. When Meredith asked their asses if they were planning to follow the Duggar tradition of beginning their children's names with a specific letter, Josh said they weren't sure, but they have talked about using the letter M. THE FUCK?! I think it's only appropriate that they name their first born MAH GOD STOP THIS INSTANITY DUGGAR.

You know, I hope Michelle's lady parts had a quiet conversation with Anna's lady parts about its future as a broke down clown car. Anna's vagina has no idea that in about 10 years, after queefing out a baby army, it's going to need to be held together with duct tape and propped up with steel planks.

This news confirms that in about ten years, the world will be covered in Duggars. Everywhere we go, there will be a creepy smile and baby hongray eyes looking back at us. The cult known as Duggar is not slowing down.

I'm serious about the creepy smile part. While watching them this morning, my eyelashes nearly fell off out of fear. Imagine waking up to that every morning. My Sanka would need an extra shot of heroin just to deal.

I don't like these people. I watched the show once and saw them teach their kids (via the creation museum or some fuckery) that the Earth was 2000 years old. yup. fucking idiots who should not be procreating. This is why the world thinks so low of americans and it is a shame, really. But this is what is brought to our households all over the world.

im sorry but do people not find it wrong that she had her first kid at 21 after four years of marriage which puts her at getting married at 17.. which she met that jimbob befor ehtat when she went through a religous conversion and he was one of the people sent to her for follow up visits... to me that just sounds bloody weird...

tellulikeitis> What you fail to understand (STILL!) is that these women don't HAVE a choice! They are brainwashed into being brood mares! They are expected to fulfill a particular stereotypical gender role. They are not given the option of following any other path in life. i.e. -going to college.
That is NOT feminism.
I actually feel bad for them. They're victims.

Also, I don't understand why these religious sects think that keeping their kids away from the "world" will do any good. Have they never heard of Forbidden Fruit? The Amish have a major drug problem w. their youth, as an example.

The eldest sister, Madonna, decided to join a nunnery (Saint Clare the Poor, in fact) and took an eternal vow of celibacy. The next eldest, Miriam, shaved her head and become a militant feminist, while preaching to the famished and poor in the barrios of South America. The third eldest, Mary, became a world-renowned doctor who traveled to the most impoverished parts of Ireland to perform abortions.

OH yeah I forgot to add...the reason for 23 kids is because this Duggar kid wanted to raise an army of boys, but as you can see, he got 6 boys outnumbered to 17 girls...lol

I'm afraid that they might have just had the last laugh with that bit of fuckery..Girls to them are raised to be the brood mares..Make the men happy and breed more zealots. That's why they are home schooled and taught to "tend the chores, men and children" from the time they stop pissing in their diapers. It's God's word, yano?

I wonder if Michelle Duggar can even feel her husband's penis. I was talking to a doctor and they said they can always tell if a woman has had children. The cervix does not go back to how it was and the vaginal walls collapse around the speculum because the walls are weak. I think he's fucking her with an extra thick turkey baster. I imagine he's got a vienna sausage for a wang.

Josh Duggar is a used car salesman ? That programmed phony christian smile must come in handy when he's selling lemons to all those unsuspecting Arkansas hicks. I can just see him unloading an old Buick with busted shocks that used to tote around Governor Huckabee's lard loaded sons.

I agree with a lot of comments on here regarding the Duggar daughters. I'm not judging any woman who chooses to be a homemaker, but what concerns me with these people is how they brainwash these girls and don't encourage any type of independance or individualism or higher education.

Let's say one of the girls gets married and hubby turns out to be a wife beater or alcoholic or whatever. How would she get out of that situation when she doesn't have the skills, experience or education necessary to live on her own? I mean do these girls ever work or do they just sit at home and wait to get married? It's very bizarre to me.

Ok, that just makes me homocidal. Thanks, lol.

*snicker* Come on! Michelle is empowered because she has mastered the ability to command her quiver full of "small-wonder-like children" without getting her bouffant out of place, AND if there be any hint of rebellion or disobedience, one thundrous queef from her massive chasm below puts the world right again. That's just the kind of empowerment and equality that real feminists had/have in mind.

Radio Siren and Stoney have some really valid points.

I think one thing that is missing from this argument over Michelle Duggar's supposed choice and "woman's empowerment" is the source of her own beliefs.

It's not the Bible, per se that is the foundation of her beliefs, but from the teachings of a man named Bill Gothard. He has a website. Basically, his teachings do emphasize specific gender roles as he shallowly misinterprets the Bible and picks verses that suit him like he's in a cafeteria line. Basically, there's no room in Gothard's teaching for "women's empowerment." I took his course when I was younger, and even then had enough sense to know this guy was blowing smoke up people's @sses.

The Duggars are huge followers of this guy's teachings who also insists that couples should have a "quiver full" and shouldn't worry about finances because people around you should be willing to help you. In a nutshell, Gothard suggests that society should chip in because you are essentially doing God's work by having a quiver full, so payouts and gifts should be expected to help.

Hi ya'll.

The tricky thing about female empowerment is that it can be manipulated to inaccurately classify just about anything. For example, many female college freshmen might say that kissing other women in bars is empowering because it gives them a sense of power when men watch them do it. In actuality, these women are experiencing attention but not power, as they are merely buying into what the patriarchy wants them to do.

Similarly, in this case, the women are giving birth to many, many children without any thought for the environment, higher education, etc. They are taught to be submissive to the men in their lives, these men who have reinterpreted the Bible in order to create their own society. So even though the women are (seemingly) happily going along with it, I don't think they are really looking at the big picture in order to realize that there are so many more "empowering" aspects to their lives that they could be developing instead.

I'm not "defending" anyone except to say that these people don't bother me as much as say, Gosselins. What I was arguing about was the fact that "women's empowerment" was brought up as if Michelle Duggar was stomping all over it, when the empowerment movement is about making your own choices in life, and not letting anyone tell you that your gender restricts you from something. I also thought there were some giant leaps being made into what these people pay for taxes considering no one here has a clue unless they've seen them.

Wow, all that education really came through in that post you bitter old twat. Fuck off.

Re: Choice, you're the one bitching about women's empowerment without a fucking clue what it is. Whether you think this woman and her family are shining examples of it or not is not the point. The point is that you're saying she's not living up to her end of the empowerment bargain because you disagree with her choices. So basically, any woman who chooses to stay at home and have more than your alloted 1-2 children, and raise them religiously is shameful to women's empowerment. Do I have that right?

The girls are not raised to be anything except breeding machines. Michelle herself said that, though not in so many words.

As far as building their mansion goes, they did build some of it, but after 3 years the project was bogging down and they had to move out of their rental house. TLC stepped in, finished about half of the construction, bought furniture, decorators and the grand piano.

They used to practice what they preach, but these days they're getting tons of freebies. Tax free. I've seen their property tax bill and it's not that much. Don't forget, they live in the armpit of America known as Arkansas.

I might have a shred of respect for these people if their stated mission wasn't publicly known to be to breed enough robots to take over and run the United States their way, including government. Don't forget, JimBoob and his buddies have had stints in state government and attempted runs at the US Senate. Do you want an army of Huckabees, Brownbacks and that former wackjob senator from PA telling you how to run your life? Didn't think so.

i'll believe it when one of their kids shaves her head and joins a militant dyke movement and the parents say - we love her no matter what she does - she's our kid.

i'll believe it when i see them using cloth diapers, solar energy, and banning plastic bags from their house.

i'll believe it when they send their female children to secular colleges (nothing to fear if they've been raised properly, right?)

Yeah, I'm sure those Duggar girls really had a choice when their fucking fucktarded backass parents handed them a baby sibling and told them to be in charge of its raising. I'm sure they really have a choice when they get sat down everyday and indoctrinated with fundamentalist Christian dogma, instead of learning about other cultures and other types at people and other CHOICES at a real fucking school. I'm sure they have a huge choice as to whom they marry, considering their parents are already setting them up with boys they meet at their backwoods babymaking cult conventions. Yeah, those Duggar girls sure have a CHOICE! *snort*

Women's empowerment is about having a CHOICE, and not letting what someone else thinks you should be limit you, whether you choose to be a religious stay at home mom with 18 children, or a career woman with 1 or 2 kids. Its all good. Placing a limit on how many children a woman is or isn't allowed to have is pretty much squashing that movement, don't you think? So what, empowerment is about becoming everything YOU think a woman should be? What's wrong with you? In America, you're allowed to have as many kids as you want, whether you like it or not. You think we should have limits? Go to China where they're killing baby girls left and right because of the "one baby" law, and there's about 35 million more boys than girls in the country now and see how that's working out.

And there's something called religious freedom in this country as well, anyone can take the Bible as literally or figuratively as they want. Its not for you to tell anyone how they should or shouldn't take it.

I don't give a shit whether you like these people or not, but don't sit there screaming about women's empowerment getting trampled, then in your next breath trample this woman's right to choose whatever she wants to do with her life. Not to mention, you have no fucking clue what these people pay for their taxes and what they do or don't declare as exemptions, so why don't YOU sit down and shut YOUR ignorant mouth. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

They're not on welfare, what's amazing about them is that they have all these kids and they're completely debt free. And not because they have handouts. They shop at discount and thrift stores and use everything second hand. They also don't have credit cards except for emergencies. They built that house themselves.

I don't have any problem with these people at all. They seem really happy and love each other. They're very strictly religious, but they're not in a cult.

@ Belladona- very salient point. I think this shit is out of hand but that's my opinion- just so many of them. I don't have any problems with the son starting a family young as it's preference. I started a family at 3o and am glad I used my 20s to fuck around (quelle horreur!) and um, be a professional student and play drinking games. But there are plenty o' mature 20 somethings ( I was not one of them..) who are happy to have a family and don't think they're missing a thing.
