Blohan Won't Be Playing Stevie Nicks Anytime Soon
I guess Blohan did the wrong shit one day and got the crazy idea to buy the film rights to Stevie Nicks' life story as a vehicle for herself. Like Blo really has the cash to buy that shit. You can't buy the rights to someone's life story with a half-snorted bag of coke and a Red Bell can. Well, maybe Stevie would've accepted that offer back in the early 80s, but not today!
When asked by UsWeekly what she thought about Blo playing her in a movie, Stevie said, "Over my dead body. She needs to stop doing drugs and get a grip. Then maybe we'll talk."
Stevie totally crushed Blo's dreams which caused her to grab a straw and snort 'em up!
Now this isn't such a fucked-up idea! I mean, Blohan is a little too old in the face to even play Stevie today, but after the make-up hos from BENJAMIN BUTTON'S get their hands on her mug, she could totally pull it off. Stevie practically lived on a mountain made of sugar back in the day, so all you gotta do is throw a shawl over Blohan and VOILA!
And since Blohan really wants to make the worst movie ever by casting herself as Stevie Nicks, she should go all the way! Heather Mills IS Christine McVie. Joaquin Phoenix IS Lindsey Buckingham. James Haven IS Mick Fleetwood (he has the crazy eyes). Billy Bob Thornton IS John McVie. I'll stop there before a pitchfork-wielding mob of Fleetwood Mac superfans storm my door.

i haven't had the horrible experience of watching "herbie", but i did catch "parent trap" the other day on disney and watched it with my kid, and liked it. i will admit to liking "mean girls" and even "confessions of a teenage drama queen" too... *ducks*
she had potential, at one time. when she was young. now she just sucks.

I wouldn't necessarily say that Stevie's remark smacks of hypocrisy. She struggled hard to get clean, so why would she want a current druggie mess to play her? The "...Then maybe we'll talk" seems generous to me.

Fleetwood Mac is classic; it will never age. And it wasn't something I grew up with - I became a fan in 1997 at 21.
As for Stevie, anyone who's read about her knows she did two hard stints in Betty Ford to kick coke and Klonopin and she came out of it successfully.
So I think she knows a little something about drugs and what you need to do to get off of them and be successful.
EPIC FAIL! Whorhan is desperately grasping at straws. What would she buy the rights with.........Monopoly money? She likes to go on about all these things she wants to do (write! direct! produce!), yet all she does is go to clubs and party.

I agree, with the right people it can be a good indie film..Bob Dylan is irrelevant to most young people yet last year his biopic was more than well recieved in the independent film circuit.

i dont think there'd be a huge market for a stevie nicks biop either. in fact, they better make it soon or most original fans will be dead.
there would be a continuing niche market though, i assume. depending on the actress, i would def see it. i always like a good indie flick

And no, a movie does not have to appeal to teens to be successful, as I'm sure that's the next argument coming my way. I have no fast and hard numbers about how much business a movie would do (and, frankly, neither do you guys) but I would also question the notion that just because someone is a Fleetwood Mac fan they would see this movie, especially when they inevitably miscast some unknown 20-year-old ho in the role. That's just my opinion.
Good for Stevie, maybe she will push LiLo off the Edge of Seventeen and into oblivion....
