Billy Bob Thornton Is A Fucking Dick
That's really the only way to describe Billy Bob Thornton's interview on the CBC this morning with Jian Ghomeshi. Who queefed in his Malt-O-Meal, because Billy Bob was an asshole from the beginning. The dude was there to talk about his stupid trash band and acted like he would rather be getting his ass eaten by Cujo! When Jian asks Billy a clear question, he acts like he doesn't understand the question. That broken down goat needs to clean the douche nuggets out of his ears if he can't hear the question correctly.
Billy's band went on tour with Willie Nelson and he claims he never met the man. Please, Billy, if you don't want to be there, just slither back down the snake hole you came from and spend your days fucking yourself with the vile of Angie Jo's blood that you always keep up your ass crack. When you go to interviews, they will ask you questions. Imagine that!
For the rest of the interview, Billy Bob continues to be a sarcastic and egotistical piece of shit. Who does he think he is? Joaquin Phoenix?!
Billy Bob admits that he's pissed off, because Jian brought up his movie career when the producers were told not to mention it. Jian wins the prize here, because he kept his cool and didn't kick Billy in the mouth hole.
And Tom Petty should take a restraining order out on Billy, because bitch is obsessed with him. Billy Bob totally has Tom Petty posters covering his bathroom walls at home.

Maybe he had one of those reoccurring nightmares about being chased around with antique furniture the night before the interview? I've heard that can set him off.

I agree with some of what you said. Mainly your point about an agreement not to bring up a certain subject during the interview (his movie career) and the purposely provocative move by the interviewer in doing that. Having said that, as annoying as it may have been to BBT, he didn't handle it well. He owes a responsibility to his band to do good press when they're touring, regardless of how annoying he finds interviewers and interviews in general. It's all part of selling your music.

The inteviewer did take some stabs at him and when he gave answers that were vague so that the other bandmembers could take over (which was a hint if I had ever seen one), he kept on going back to BBT, but he wents overboard then and thereafter.____________________________________________

The interviewer wrote his own intro away from his told instructions .If you look at the begining right when the interviewer fucks up BBT's face get pissed,his eyes roll etc.If I was BBT I would have walked off.I did notice the other band members were qite uncomfotable with the whole situation.
I think BBT acted immature..he should have just walked off and not acted so childish.I would still hit it.

A few things. 1. Something about his website reminds me of Shag's work, but I can't decide if that's cool or if it's a ripoff. 2. He will never be better than Tom Petty in music or acting. As a Canadian, BBT comments on Canadians being like mashed potatoes without the gravy is kind of insulting. Maybe it's not the crowd that he's playing to who is boring. Maybe the crowd is bored by the music. I'm glad he got booed out of Canada.

I think BBT is a little testy because he has been trying to make it as a musician for a while (according to him, he's got like 8 albums), and his career didn't get any attention until he became successful as an actor.

Look, I like Billy Bob as an actor somewhat and maybe he is right getting a bit indignant about the mentioning if he was under the impression certain things were not to be mentioned. Ok now wait a minute. From what I can tell this band has been together a couple years (?). They are on tour. Who knows how many times they were interviewed and the interview ended up revolving around Billy Bob's acting career and the interviewer maybe even ignored the rest of the band.... I don't know I'm just guessing. But if it was known that they weren't supposed to mention it, why start off with it right off the bat? The interviewer could have said something like "and someone whose name you've probably heard before, Billy Bob Thornton" and THEN if the guy got pissed, that would be a reason to call him a dick. And another thing, it was like 6:00am. 6:00. AM. IN THE MORNING. The only thing I know about the dude is that he was in Slingblade and I thought it was a good movie.
