I always thought Billy was gay and just never came out of the closet. It didn't stop me from having a major crush on him though. I love cute, tall, lanky, kinda awkward (shy) looking guys. But when I read (years ago) that he went out with Courtney love it kind of turned me off him. Who in their right mind could sleep with CL? Let's start by saying I'm not a fan of Tila Tequila (like anyone cares either way); however, I take exception to bloggers insisting on calling her THIEN THAHN THI NGUYEN as an insult. It feels to me that they are calling her out on her heritage, reminding us "Remember, she's a gook!" as a way to discredit her, her "career" or sexuality. Every once in a while Michael K calls a bitch out using their birth name (his favorite seems to be Portia De Rossi and it seems to be in fun), but this just feels racist to me. That said, fuck that ugly little twat. She looks like a 12 y/o boy playing dress up. But, let's cool it with the THIEN THAHN THI NGUYEN as a pointed accusation.
Billy Corgan is epic in every aspect. It's a shame he's even near that skank with a large head.
As far as his music goes, yes it may be differe,t no he hasn't 'sold out'. I'll be the first to admit, that SP's earliest albums, (siamese dream, gish, melon collie) we're easily the best, a real fan should be able to look beyond the fact that yeah okay Zietergeist doesn't have the same vibe as the earlier stuff. The dynamic has changed - Darcy is gone, James (the stupid egotistical douche) is gone, and the Jimmy had his own shit to deal with. It proper pisses me off how people react to Billy's 'antics', as if you didn't know that motherfucker was crazy already?

Sensimina, I just read your blog entries and, while you're a harder-core SP fan than I am, I have similar complaints. I caught the SP show in Raleigh, NC (must have been within a few weeks of the Asheville shows), and the band seemed so hollow and detached, emotionlessly plonking down meaningless musical notes so they could just be done and on their way. BC barely spoke to us and, when he did, he was haughty and couldn't be bothered to remember the name of the city he was in. Raleigh may not be a big city, but it is the capitol of North Carolina. Fuck.
Also, the current band members seem like strangers to each other and as if they're tense and uncomfortable together. I did not love the show. It made me long for the old days.
