To celebrate West Side Story's return to Broadway, Vanity Fair shot an homage to the musical starring Camilla Belle (as Maria), JLo (as Anita), Rodrigo Santoro (as Bernardo), Chris Evans (as Riff) and Ben Barnes (as Tony). Other whores including Brittany Snow, Jay Hernandez, Robert Pattinson, Ashley Jizzdale, Cam Gigandet and Drake Bell also make cameos throughout. If you're trying to spot the sparkly vampire, just follow the flying unicorns to the back of this picture where he's glittering it up with Brittany Snow.
The acting faces in these pictures are worthy of a million Razzies. While Camilla Belle is purdy, she looks like an unlit candle and has the emotional depth of one too. And JLo. JLO! JLo as fucking Anita. I think I'll go back to San Juan, because if I stay here I'll slap a baby newt over this fuckery. Was Rita Moreno previously booked? Or Chita Rivera? Or Iris Chacon? Or Salma Hayek? Or Charo? Or Skeletor? Or La Pequena? Or any bitch but JLo!
And where in Officer Krupke hell is Anybodys?! That boygirl was always my favorite. All Vanity Fair had to do was ring up Rojo Caliente. Rojo already has the looks and attitude to pull it off.

Guys, I usually hate musical theater, too. But I did like the movie of WSS. But only the scenes with the crazy dancing. The love stuff bugged me.
Sometimes I will break out into one of the musical numbers - usually "America" and crack up the hub and kids. But we do "I Feel Pretty" sometimes.
Oh, and "The Sound of Music" is a big one, too.

Hah - there is NO WAY the zombie-like Camilla Belle would EVER scream "KEELER KEELER KEELER KEELER!" in an effective way. She's obviously too dead inside.
I must say, though, that Lopez and Santoro make an incredible Anita and Bernardo. Santoro especially - his resemblance to George Chakiris's Bernardo is uncanny.
Sorry there wasn't more tween action from Sparkle!Pattz and Drake Bell, though. I'd love to hear either one of them say "Frabba jabba!" or "Great, daddy-o!"

At the risk of getting flaming to a crackly crunch, Puero Rico is a commonwealth territory of the United States. It is not a separate country. It's residents are citizens of the United States. Saying that someone is a Puerto Rican is like saying someone is a Californian. Claiming that JLo has Puerto Rican heritage is akin to saying that I have Iowan heritage because my mom was born in Cedar Rapids. Or, that I have a Hawai'ian heritage just because I was born in Honolulu.
Moreover, they are hispanic just like the other folks from Latin America. Thus, JLo has an hispanic heritage ... not a Puerto Rican one.
