my man is black and i'm red haired and freckled. my biggest fear when we have kids is that they will of course be lightskinned (mixed) but i kind of really hope they don't get red tinted hair, and i REALLY hope they don't get freckles. i think freckles on black people are fucking ugly, they're like black dots on your face.

I'm blonde and blue eyes and I actually am more attracted to dark hair and brown eyes. I would not mind losing my traits in my kids. Maybe because where I'm from, a very dutch part of the country, Blonde hair and blue eyes (and height) is the norm. Not rare at all.

If this is true then it probably has do with survival instinct. The light eyed people come from a Nordic, harsh environment and always had to be on their game to survive winters. They also have had to be inventive to survive the tough winters. They are innovative because they had to be.

In respect to the blonde/brunette controversy I gotta say as a blonde who has gone brunette and now back again there is more attention given to blonde. It's not that brunettes aren't gorgeous. I find dark haired women far more attractive (maybe b/c I like the opposite of myself) it's just the blonde Colour that catches people's eye first. But in men's defense, the blonde may get their attention but if the blonde is a butterface they usually pull back realllll fast.
