There's A Picture.....
It was only a matter of time, but TMZ got a hold of the picture of RiRi after she allegedly got the beat down from Chris Brown. And it looks like it was a major beat down. I put it behind a cut, because it's obviously not ice cream and rainbows. It's pretty fucking awful and heartbreaking. I really have no words for this. Click here to see it.

I've already stated my opinion and I guess it isn't satisfactory for you. He's wrong, violence has no place in any relationship but I don't believe it was a one time thing between them. I believe there was a pattern established by them that led up to this big blowup.

What galls me most, and some of the comments make me want to weep for humankind, is that someone on the force got paid to leak an evidentiary photograph. Things like this lead to mistrials/ acquittals/guilty verdicts and show fair cause to move a trial away from the place where the incident took place. Due to the heated topic and the right to a fair trial all extremes will be followed. If the case blows up, they should do an internal investigation to find that culprit.
I wasn't that curious to see any photos and could have gone for weeks/months longer without seeing the damage that was done to that young woman. The arguement being that we have a right to know. When did that right overtake the basic needs of a right to privacy and how much money was involved...

I think we shouldnt be so quick to judge. The only people who really knows what happened are the two people in that car. What if they were both fighting each other? Situations like these just dont go from zero to sixty in one day. If they were both fighting her briuses are justified. I dont condone violence against anyone, but there's two sides to this story and in our society we really need to stops jumping on the women's side just because this sort of thing "isn't supposed to happen to women" or a "man shouldn't hit a women". Women who hit or provoke should be treated just like a man who hits or provokes. We keep yelling about equality, but when a thing like this happens and we really dont know what happened we jump to the conclusion that the women is the victim. There's hypocrisy in the logic.

This is so shocking and so sad to see. No matter who started it first or what not, this is no way to treat someone.

I really hope this girl isn't going to make excuses for him (like it seems she has done in the past) and take his crazy ass back. And I hope both of them get the counseling they need. Him for acting like how he saw his stepfather treat his mother and her for putting up with this kind of thing and not dropping anyone who hits her like a hot potato the instant it happens. If she had dumped him before when she was sporting bruises she would be a lot better off today. They seemed to have some kind of psycho love/hate relationship.
I do have empathy for Chris, though. I feel bad for any child who grew up in an abusive household. Obviously he has not had any help to resolve his anger issues.

Rhianna needs to walk away and never look back. She could be the best spokesperson possible for Teen, young adult domestic abuse. My mom is an abuser who grew up with an abuser for a father (and a molester, but that's a whole other can of worms), his mother abused him, my grandmother mentally abused her children and was physically abused by her mother and so on and so forth.
