Well, ok, that would depend on the charges. They are trying to get him on the threats, but that will be a he said/she said. Most likely it will end up as domestic battery. Then he will be ordered to counseling and therapy.
I would like to see him go to jail for this too, but somehow I don't see it happening.
I've seen it before, maybe her high profile will change things, but don't get your hopes up.

That's sad. It really makes her look like a pitiful, vulnerable, everyday abuse victim instead of a wealthy singer. Amazing how abuse is the depressing equalizer.

LAPD is internally investigating release of the photo and has filed a disciplinary complaint. Many times it's some lower-level employee who needs the cash. I don't think TMZ can be charged with anything and it will claim journalistic confidentiality.

I am really over this story. Any adult with a cent of intelligence knows how this pans out. Shes not going to leave him, this is not the first time he hit her and it will not be the last. Rihanna needs just as much psychiatric help as Chris does, I am sure she is also abusive since its usually working both ways. It was a longgggggg time ago. It's part of my history and there can be no denying it. However, one of the 'gifts' that came as result, is being able to spot it a mile away. There seems to be this 'script' that abusers use to suck their 'prey' in.

Going back some years ago, I tried writing about it but it left me feeling barren, isolated and paranoid. There is quite a few years distance from it now so it no longer bothers me though there are dreams still. The dreams no longer frighten me because I lucid dream. As far as dreams go, I recognize them as 'brain reflux'. Stuff needs to be purged sometimes. lol.

Because of that experience, I am the nasty bitch I am today.

Geez, I am shocked to read the comments that say this isn't that bad. Having worked as a nurse in the trauma center, I can tell you that these injuries ARE BAD. She was seriously beaten and the swelling/bruises you are looking for happen a day/or two later. Look at the contusions on her forehead, bruising on her eyes, cheek and lip. This is not good. This was a continuous beating.

Some years ago (my scandalous years) it took about 50 cops and FBI agents to wake my ass up and I was in denial for a longggggg time.

If it wasn't for that, I had anticipated being dead or crazy by the age of 30. Crazy wasn't far off however, but recovery from low self esteem is a long haul. It's that distorted belief system that gets so many women hurt.

I am a proud female and I defend and praise decent women. Are you one of those people that claim men are the only ones who cheat?
