My sister and I watched our dad beat our mom unmerciful too many times to count. We were so scared and just helpless to watch, it was the most painful and traumatic thing I remember from my childhood.
My mom stayed in her relationship with my dad for waayy too long being used as a punching bag. She finally decided she'd had enough and divorced him. But that terrifying shit still stays in my memories. I am NOT a condoner of violence against women. I hope this clears up my stance for you.

NO! But there is also some speculation that *perhaps* one reason she hasn't said anything about it is because *MAYBE* the violence wasn't one-sided only. I would NEVER make excuses for woman-beating. I grew up in a household where my mom was bounced off the wall by our dad, and God help any man who ever laid a hand on me like that. He'd find his balls in a blender.

I would expect someone like Jay-Z to be way more in the know when it comes to facts than the rest of us. He has got to be much more inner circle, and since there are no pics or press releases other than the vague statements made by family of RiRi & Chris, all we have is speculation to a large degree.
It SOUNDS like (from the tone of the quote) that Chris is in for some retribution, not that this is something that is a hushed up mutually violent relationship between Chris & RiRi.

I heard it on one of those entertainment shows (CBS I think) last night. The commentator stated that they didn't understand why more celebrities didn't take a stand against Chris Brown and were glad that as a hiphop entertainer that Jay-Z did.
