Plastic Surgery Gone Wrong
Usher's wife, Tameka Foster, went down to Brazil to get a little (or a lot) of plastic surgery action. Maybe she went to Brazil because she didn't want bitches to find out, or maybe she wanted some crazy shit they wouldn't do here, or maybe her plastic doctor of choice works his magic down there. Who knows? But unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and Tameka suffered a serious injury due to complications. Eesh.
Usher was supposed to perform at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party last night, but he had to cancel so he could rush to Brazil to be with his wife. It doesn't sound good, because Access Hollywood reports that a neurosurgeon from Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is on his way to South America to treat Tameka. No, that doesn't sound good at all. Hopefully, Tameka gets fixed, eats the jello, feels better and runs away from that nip/tuck shit forever.
Usher's rep had no comment.

You have all kinds of money to enjoy yourself with, but you choose to go get illegal surgery on yourself. I know people who have as much or money than, and still choose not to have plastic surgery because they have no insecurities about themselves, and are happy being that way. I asked one of friends why won't she get the surgery, she said "I rather die the way I was born, natural." I don't wish anything bad on anyone, but have more faith in yourself.

s appreciating what my body was able to do during pregnancy but I don't want to change anything enough to risk an elective surgery that could go wrong (and leave my baby without a mommy) I could not bear taking that chance.
I have heard Tameka is terrible and does not seem to be the nicest person but hopefully this will not be fatal. Just for the kids' sake to have their mommy around. I'm sure she went down there to have something done that an American doctor could not perform (because it may have been illegal here in the states). I met a man who said he had his tattoo removed in Europe. He said they freeze the skin and "dust" the outer layer of skin away (in one session). I thought he was full of shit but he showed me his shoulder blade that had a 5 inch diameter of skin that looked like a baby's bottom. The rest of his skin looked freckled and sun damaged. He said the procedure is illegal in the states because more often than not you could burn the skin if your doctor does not have excellent skills and timing.
If the fucking doctors in Brazil are so good, why the fuck do they need to fly in a neurosurgeon from America?
There are some people who will never benefit from plastic surgery; they are just to plain or fugly to be improved upon, ie: Joan Rivers, her daughter Melissa, and Tori Spelling. Tamieka falls into this class. Whatever procedure she wanted done must not have been available in the US, or she could not find a plastic surgeon who would risk his license to do it. Tamieka strikes me as the type of woman who does not take NO for an answer so she trips off to Brazil to get her cosmetoligical enhanced way. Sometimes, it doesnt pay to be a stubborn, cold, bitch.

A neurologist treats the nerves. A neurosurgeon will be brought in on neurological problems if it involves something pressing on the spinal cord or brain stem, or a tumor is affecting the nerves.
Neurosurgeons don't only treat the brain. They treat nerve damage in other places, too.

Seriously. Hope she gets better & all but who in their right mind actually volunteers for any kind of medical treatment?! One of my major rules in life is to keep as far away from medical procedures as possible unless absolutely necessary. I don't care how fucked up & old my face gets I ain't volunteering for any surgery whatsoever. Hospitals kill.
Haven't even visited my GP in over 10 years.

I hear where you're coming from, but I've voluntarily had two procedures, one of which was considered to be cosmetic even though I had it done for medical reasons. Had a breast reduction a few years ago; best decision EVER and then another surgery to remove some scar tissue to help future mammograms be easier to read. Both elective, both came out ok, but I definately wouldn't have anything done for vanity's sake (but I'd be lying if I said I've never considered it).

I'm the same. I had a twinge of that when Kanye West's mom died.
I had a twinge of it when one of my younger sisters blew thousands of our father's inheritance on a tummy tuck, that looked monstrous when we met up with them for a vacation "down the shore" with them a few years ago. She still complains that she's lost feeling down there and can't feel sexual pleasure since the procedure.
Meanwhile, she is in a chronic state of "poor mouth", with a teenage son, and young twins, and her husband being the sole breadwinner, yet she chose to blow that money.

Truth is, she was in a tough place. I live in Atlanta and when they talk about her and him on the radio, they are usually clowning her for being old or ugly. Its like every other week there's a rumor that he's leaving her for a younger or prettier woman that he met on a video set or a club. A lot of people down here knew (and preferred) Chili when he was dating her and you only heard good things, but now, they are rough.
