Sick as THAT may sound, the animal, a piglet which had lost it's mother-pig in a flood needed sustenance. A woman who had just given birth took the piglet and suckled it, too. I think that's awesome. There is nothing weird, awkward or ignorant about this. The baby was hungry, Selma had the means to feed it and so she did. Instead of waiting around for some lame politicians to deliberate for decades about how to feed these children, finally someone just DID. There is something to be said about getting things done. She had it, the baby needed it, she gave it.

It's a better long term solution to show women in an undeveloped country that they can share breast milk and rely on eachother to feed their children instead of waiting to get cereal or whatever else tittyphobes would prefer they eat.
