I hate all these stupid baby machine ladies. Are they just addicted to the idea of bringing life into the world? There is NO WAY you can care for 14 kids the way they need to be parented. How many snuggles can you possibly give? Or hugs when someone falls down?

I can't imagine thinking that my DNA was soooo fabulous that the world needed 14 of my offspring. I mean, sure I'd love to have another kid.. but I'm too busy doing things like having a job, paying my bills, supporting the child I already have, paying taxes... ya know, the boring stuff.

I will say this, my dad lives in Whittier. Maybe I can adopt some puppies from the pound and go move back in with him. Is that the same thing?

Hmmm now that someone mentioned it, she could be a surrogacy for those babies to help pay for her previous 6. But WTF? a surrogacy who has to take fertility drugs?

This bitch better be independently wealthy!

Just think, we have more to add to the 50% of Americans that don't pay taxes but are getting a stimulus check just for breathing.

The womans father has to go to Iraq to work to support the brood. It is just insanity. I give props to pops for being the bread winner, but why didn't those parents insist on her tying her tubes after say the first, 2nd or third? In the end it will be the children who suffer.

My girlfriend had IVF, it was here in CA, She had 9 embryo's. First try, they implanted 3, none took, 2nd time, they implanted 3, she miscarried the two that took, 3rd implantation, the last 3 embryo's, she was pregnant with 2, one died around the 3 month mark, she luckily gave birth to 1 healthy baby boy. I believe the cost for this "round" of treatment was $100K

With all due respect to your girlfriend, I just can't comprehend the need to have a baby that bad. Not with the cost, just the whole implantation method creeps me out. And risking the chance of having all of them...and also risking losing them--just doesn't seem right. I'd just rather live with having none than go through that, but I guess I don't have that strong of a need to have kids as some women do.

There is an ex Kaiser P "doctor" currently awaiting trial for murder here in Brisbane. His Kaiser P colleagues gave him glowing false references so he could get a job in Australia. Shit gotta be pretty bad when you can murder someone on the operating table.

It's not just the photo money this woman is after. She already had 6 kids. Hmmm, what's the best way to get a show on TLC and notoriety/fame at the same time? Shit out a litter of brats. I have a sneaky feeling that this was done quite connivingly by the mother as a way to get a windfall by starring in a reality TV show.

I'm shocked that a woman living with her parents, bankrupt, has enough money to go through fertility treatments. The doctors and Kaiser should have flat out refused her. But I'm betting she didn't go to Kaiser for fertility treatments. They're too much about the bottom line. It's cheaper for them to deny paying for her treatment than pay for the health costs of 8 runts plus 6 others.

What's sad is that in this state of economy, especially in California, she's going to be getting big handouts. She's not white. She is of Iraqui descent. So are some of her doctors.

My sister is a nurse at Whitter Hospital (where she was going to have the babies but she had Kaiser Insurance so she was moved there) told me that THERE IS NO FATHER....PERIOD! And that she lied to her doctor about having 5 kids (not 6 as reported). She is already on WIC and state financial assistance. So it looks like she is going to be a burden on the state and federal government which purely disgusting.
And I think she thought she was going to have a big pay day when the kids popped out because she thought people were going to shower her with gifts and cash.
These children were NOT a product of love but pure greed! This woman should be evaluated and if she is deemed " unfit". She should should have ALL her children taken away.

BTW. Each child is about $140k to take care of at Kaiser. So I KNOW her insurance is NOT paying the entire bill. She already applied for Medicare assistance! Our tax dollars are hard at work.

Goodness! Someone please shoot the breeders down!. I know we are designed to breed to perpetuate the species, but fact is, our species is overpopulated. Why can't stupid people grasp that?. I honestly don't get it.

For the record, I had to take a relative to the Kaiser Bellflower ER once and that place is a fucking shithole. The ER was quiet that day, and yet, they couldn't be bothered to empty the trash in the exam room... there was a bloody gauze on the floor and a few used Band-Aids laying around. The doctor who saw my relative was an impatient asshole who actually got angry when we asked questions about the condition that was diagnosed. That place needs a JCAHO audit, stat!

Just because it's medically possible doesn't mean that it's anything but a dumb, selfish thing to do. Bring in a bunch more kids you can't support. If they were rolling in it and those kids weren't going to be a strain on social services, I wouldn't care as much. But to think that she made a choice to have IVF done, not reduce the number and then birth them out with their palms stretched is fucking INSANE.
