I eat all grains various with various combinations of butter/molasses/maple syrup/honey a little bit of cream/chopped up fruit for something sweet. I like savory grains too. Have had brown rice with a very soft white cheese melted on it with sugar and cinnamon. That's pretty good. Main reason is I'm allergic to wheat.

I eat all grains various with various combinations of butter/molasses/maple syrup/honey a little bit of cream/chopped up fruit for something sweet. I like savory grains too. Have had brown rice with a very soft white cheese melted on it with sugar and cinnamon. That's pretty good. Main reason is I'm allergic to wheat.
Favorite is millet and quinoa.
So if you like rice with sugar and cinnamon, you aren't that big a mutant.

Were any of your ancestors from the South? Some people eat their grits with butter and sugar. Since grits aren't readily available elsewhere, maybe they just altered the recipe by changing the main ingredient.
