2009 Already Sucks!
Time Warner Cable has beat me down and cut me up so many times before, but like a dumb bitch I never quit them and now it's going to eff me in the ass. I start going into minor convulsions when my cable goes out, so I'm afraid for my own safety come tomorrow. That's because 19 channels will go dark starting at 12:01am on January 1st for Time Warner Cable and Bright House customers.
It all has to do with Time Warner Cable and Viacom acting like two stupid ass skanks! Those evil bitches are fighting over money, of course. Time Warner says Viacom wants to charge more for use of their whores including: MTV, MTV 2, MTV Hits, MTV James, MTV Tr3s, Comedy Central, CMT, Pure Country, Logo, Palladia, Nickelodeon, Noggin, Nick 2, Nicktoons, Spike, The N, TV Land, Vh1, Vh1 Classic and Vh1 Soul. Time Warner Cable doesn't want to pay, because they will have to charge their subscribers more if they agree to it.
No Colbert! No Double Shot At Hep! No Three's Company reruns! No MTV True Life! No Charm School reunion show! None of that! I might as well move to Tibet to become a monk, because I'm fucked. TV and booze are the only two friends I can count on in this world to keep me from flushing myself down the toilet. How will I go on without 19 less channels to choose from? Hmmm. Maybe I can make my dog wear a tin foil hat, run a cord from his ass to my TV and have him stand outside on the window ledge. I would probably get better service too compared to Time Worthless Cable! Don't worry, I'll pay him with freshly baked cat cookies and air kisses. I'd give him real kisses, but I'm afraid of heights.
Viacom created a little PSA above asking whores to complain to Time Warner, because if they don't come up with a solution soon, cable TV will die tomorrow.
But why should we have to call and complain? These idiots need to settle it themselves! Shoot each other! Shank each other! Fist each other! Cage wrestle each other! I don't give a fuck as long as I have my Vh1 tomorrow morning.

The crawl was all over VH1 last during "Real Chance of Love" and probably every other trash show they have.
Having Comcrap -- I think I'm safe. Does Time Warner own Comcrap? Sadly, I have no idea. However, taking away 19 channels is bogus. Why don't they take away the channels that no one watches. I appear to have about 120 channels and half the time never have anything to watch. I've been debating switching to direct tv - perhaps it's time.
One word people - Torrent. It's free, no commercials and you only watch what you want.

I'm thinking about that. If my complex didn't pay for basic cable my bill would be around $160/ Internet instead of $100. If the would put HBO and Showtime on on-demand via Internet, I'd cancel it all, download everything at work and stick to utorrent.
I have two little kids. Nick Jr and Noggin is my only salvation to take a shower in the morning. Today they have been running a black banner urging customer to call to complain. I guess I better set the DVR to record all day. This shit sucks. Why does Time Warner want me to stink?

Where I live, comcast bought time warner. I am surprised it still exists elsewhere, as I thought they bought the whole thing.
I had a recent broadband slowness problem, and got some asinine computer-generated letters. Once I got ahold of a live person, though, I got pretty good support and a new and faster cable modem.
I watch very little tv, and what I do is internet stuff, like hulu which christine mentioned.
Problem is, I treated myself to a 30" flat panel monitor for christmas, and I guess its too much for hulu, as the pix jumps around like an old tyme movie--but I still like it enought to keep watching.
I like a lot of the crime dramas on cbs.com, and that looks great on my monitor.
When I first saw sunny in philadelphia on hulu.com, I couldn't believe how unpretentious and irreverant it was and I loved it. Its kind of hit and miss in the 3rd season, though.
DIE VIACOM, DIEEE! Although my ass is too cheap to pay for SHIT SHOWS on TV and I get basic cable by sticking some rolle dup foil into the back of my TV, I feel for all you bitches. Why the hell is Viacom raising prices? Maybe when these stupid networks can put their idiot heads 2gether and come up with some quality TV, then they can raise prices. Until then, FUCK VIACOM! Oh, and FUCK time warner too cuz my internet is always slow, andddd those hobags raised it from $30 a month to fuckign 45! ASSHOLES!

I have Time Warner/Brighthouse whatever. I tried getting Verizon and was all excited, looked them up in the Yellow Pages here, called them and they said, "Sorry ma'am, we don't service your area". I said, "WTF is your ad doing in my YELLOW PAGES for then?" No answer. Teasing bitches.
Brighthouse has a monopoly on this area. $100 a month for roadrunner and cable, outrageous!

Don't even get me started. My Time Warner cable service (internet AND television) was down for five solid days this week courtesy of those. Calling the repair line takes you to India. Verizon doesn't have FiOS in my area. It's all fucked.
