Carrie Fisher Ate A Lot Of Acid
Crazy Carrie Fisher makes me wish that reading books didn't give me the runs most of the time, because I really want to read Wishful Drinking after seeing her interview with Matt Lauer on Today this morning. Carrie covered all our favorite morning topics from her bipolar disorder to Cary Grant telling her to stop eating acid to how her husband left her for another dude to electroshock therapy. I only wish Debbie Reynolds was interviewing her instead. How I wish I was a bottle of vodka at their Christmas dinner. It's probably fucking nuts!
During her interview, Carrie probably thought she was having an acid flashback when Matt suddenly turned into a gigantic dirty dildo. Naw, Carrie. It wasn't a flashback. Most of us see him that way.
Below is the second part of her interview with Al Roker. It seems that somewhere in between the first and second interview, she lost her legs. She haz no legs! And you know there's a dozen hickeys underneath that scarf.

Great book, read it in one night. she is very witty and a great storyteller, but MK is much more funny!
I love her writing. It's wry, insightful and honest. I remember one comment she'd made about going someplace and realizing that every village idiot that she'd ever met in her life was there. I think we've all had those moments.
She's crazy. fucking awesome. She's so great as the flame-thrower toting pissed off girlfriend in Blues Brothers. You know she did sooo much coke and acid w/ Belushi, Akroyd, Landis and the rest.
I love Carrie, she absolutely ROCKS!!! Did I mention that Matt Lauer is gonna interview next week the one-and-only Tommy Girl again, for the first time in three years kids! Good times, good times once again!

That was too funny! I actually watched this movie a few weeks ago on tv and looking at it through an adult's eyes, i was APPALLED. The bad thing is I was totally doing stuff like that at when I was 14!
The movie is called Kids. Rosario Dawson is in it, but it's just like following a bunch of teenagers througha day/night after one of them finds out that they are HIV positive.
Her mom looked like such a sweetheart back in the day, like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. I guess looks are decieving

You're right, she was probably still that beat on 30 Rock, but she probably benefited from having costume and wardrobe people working on her, rather than being left to her own crazy devices like what we saw here. I mean it says a lot that they tried to make her look as a crazy as possible on the show, and she still looked better than she does here.

I remember that, and I think she did look that bad, but I kind of thought she was made up to play the part of an old crank.
I mean, the gal who plays geiser's daughter is pretty hot looking in real life.
I guess she's a few years older than me, but most non-celebrity women that age just don't look so beat. Unfortunately, I'm old enough to remember the Eddie/Debbie/Elizabeth triangle and it was the first thing that came to mind when that more recent triangle emerged. It's scary how the two are alike, except Eddie and Elizabeth didn't meet on a movie set; Eddie and Debbie were besties with Elizabeth and Mike Todd and Eddie "comforted" Elizabeth when Tood died.
