Dame Elizabeth Loves The Gays
MARRIEEED? Noooooooo! Dame Elizabeth Taylor, friend to the gays, went out to dinner last night at The Abbey in West Hollywood looking like she was just wheeled out from the cast photo of Dallas. If anybody else was wearing this outfit, I'd immediately order them to spend a little time with the Fug Girls. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. But this is a legend we're talking about! She could wear a "I Hate Spaghetti Cat" t-shirt and I would still adore her. I'd throw her a couple of side-eyes and lip smacks, but I'd still be one of her devotees. Besides, those pants look extra sexy on her and I'm not fucking being sarcastic.
You know, I'd gladly give up one of my internet porn memberships to be one of Dame Elizabeth's best girlfriends. She probably tells the nastiest jokes. I knew a memaw like her who made me sound like a virgin nun. She also used to give me shit from her house when I said I liked it. Once I told her I liked some ashtray she stole from a Holiday Inn and she told me I could have it! Dame Elizabeth probably does that. You just have to pick up your Oscar, tell her it's so beautiful and shiny....and voila! It's yours. She's perfect.
And when I become a memaw and need to be wheeled around, I really want that hot blonde chick to do it.

Oh damn, is that what has become of the most beautiful woman in the world?? Jesus wept.
I wish she had just stayed inside and faded away so we would always think of her in her prime. Now we are going to remember this picture!
Stewie.. I don't detect a lot of hate here.. I hear overwhelming adoration... not sure where your comment is coming from.. next time judge the masses if you are going to judge.
Absolutely love her!
Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before.

God bless her. And to all you haters, f*ck you..you only wish your lives could be anywhere as remarkable as hers.
hotness. I would gladly be her 50th husband...and her 54th.
She is one hot bitch.

She totally has got a dirty mouth. I heard a story from someone I know who had Thanksgiving with her and when he arrived she said "Let's play Turkey...I bend over...You gobble!"

Oh, I can totally believe this, RW - totally! That's what she's always been like (giggle)!
And btw, RW - I'm in love with you/your avi.....

"Oh, really? Did she like it?"
"I just love being a whore - you meet the most fascinating paint salesmen and curtain-rod manufacturers!"
Oh, god, this poor wreck of a woman! See, sluts, this is what a 60-year combo of booze and painkillers can make YOU look like, too.
God help us all.....oi...

she is beginning to look like MICHAEL JACKSON!
Hottest wedding of the 90s: her and Larry Fortensky
She says, "not so fast, Von Rye". I was told that is that homeboys name with her.

This is a promotion for her new movie, "Zombie Cowgirl."
just another proof that hard living and tanning age people beyond their years...she looks beat for a 76yo...my grandma is almost 90yo and looks wayyyy younger than Elizabeth. But can't deny she was the shit in her time and still is. The last of the real great ones. Oh and she did not steal Eddie...his marriage to Debbie was pretty much done when he used the excuse to console Liz for the loss of Mike Todd to seduce her and make her marry him. It wasn't the other way around. To this day, he is the ex she loathes. And she and Debbie have had many laughs together at his expense. Do your homework before you spew hate.
TITS... (hi!)... I no longer have it ... and apparently it was a rather rare picture. (I just google-imaged her, and it wasn't in the first 22 pages... so it's fair to say, it's probably hard to find.) It truly was unlike any other.
off to shop! have a great day everyone!

Hys - it was widely believed that she got an oscar for that film because she almost died that year and had been unsuccessful / not nominated prior to that.
oh dog! remember the whole liz eddie debbie thing? they were the original angie brad jennifer!!

oh, yes, the liz/eddie/debbie debacle. it was uber scandalous. i must be quite the old-timer cuz that's one of the first things i thought, 'umph. this has been done in movie land before' ! actually that love triangle is prolly embedded in the cultural unconscious.
pa-shaw! I just saw Carrie Fischer on the Today Show, still hilarious, and bigger than a planet! that little postcard cowgirl

a long long time ago - on Dlisted - I had a Liz avi (1 of 3 total), from when she was young and stunning. It was a picture unlike any others I have ever seen.. in black and white, it was taken on the water somewhere.. and she was absolutely stunning - in a Jackie O sort of way - which wasn't her typical look. I just LOVE that picture. Back in day, she oozed sexuality, and yes, her support of AIDS causes has been matched by none. But I never swooned over her "look" (other than the one in that picture).
I worked a personal appearance with her once in her big "come back", during the launch of her first perfume, "Passion" .. and she was every bit the La Liz she was known for. A star diva without being nasty. I can make fun of her makeup and legwear, but she IS Hollywood royalty, so I have appropriate awe and respect for that. All that said, if you needed proof that aging is terrifying... look no further.

obviously we are all supposed to be so blindsided by the matchy matchy bonanza of her lipstick and nails that we fail to notice - like all women of that certain age - that she just can't manage to corral that lipstick into just the lip area where it belongs. Are there not "personal assistants" for THAT too? other than that, at least she is OUT...

I love watching "Cleopatra" when it comes on occasionally. What an entertaining mess! It was the most expensive film made at the time and for many years.
And I did read somewhere that Liz said she barely remembered it because she and Richard Burton were so drunk while filming it.
That was their "Mr & Mrs Smith".

When I see her pic, I always think that one line in Cleopatra when she tells Mark Antony: "on. your. knees". Say what you want about Elizabeth Taylor, but she was a big supporter for gay rights and fundraising for AIDS before it became the cool thing to do in Hollywood.
Can't hate. She lived large in the old days and is now paying for it. Going loony due to old age is a sad sad process that hurts everybody. I hates it. So, nope, can't hate on her.
