Sad indeed. I have several co-workers that had gastric bypass, one had the "sleeve" surgery, where they actually REMOVE 85% of the stomach. I wish them all good health, but I don't think these surgeries are everything they were cracked up to be. The weight seems to creep right back on if the patient doesn't learn to eat properly and exercise.

didn't Carnie have some kinda bypass surgery at one point?

And as long as Crazy Paula Abdul is alive, we'll have Bratz. Goddammit.

PSL: That's a good point (butting in again) about Carnie and the weight loss yo yo. It's healthier to be at a steady weight above normal than to go up and down all the time.

As much as I rail against obesity, I readily acknowledge that there are people who are genetically fat AND perfectly healthy. Some people are just big. There are plenty of fat people who have the fat evenly distributed all over their bodies, who exercise and eat right and have normal blood pressure and sugar and heart rate and cholesterol, etc.

*Carnie should be relabled as Ice Scream!
*Amanda B. has a cute, fresh face- not strung out like a lot of the other H'Wood tramps (or their younger sisters!)
*I dont agree with husbands cheating..however, I think that sometimes *SOMETIMES* wives like the lavish lifestyle their hubbys provide (vice/versa) so they overlook it as long as it IS discreet and the husbands continue to make them feel like theyre still relevent in the marriage.

Although a neighbor of ours threw a Bratz-themed birthday party for her TWO YEAR OLD. Oh yeah, a kid just turning two knows what Bratz are? And asked for a theme birthday party featuring them? That's what makes me mad, because instead of letting kids decide what they like, the parents foist this consumerist crap on the kids. My kids STILL don't know what Bratz are. They have their tween years for tacky garbage fads. I don't want to push it now.
