Tearjerker: Dog Saves Dog!
Warning: this video will make your cinder heart cry a million tears and then spontaneously grow a patch of wild daisies for these precious dogs to run through.
In the video, one pooch is running along the highway and gets hit by a car. As the dog lay in the middle of the highway, another dog comes to the other dog's rescue! The heroic dog drags his injured friend off the highway and out of harm's way. Notice that none of the cars stopped! Those cold ass bitches. Or maybe the cars were all being driven by cats?
According to the YouTube description, the injured furry friend did survive, but I couldn't find any concrete evidence that proves this. Mah Boo Anderson Cooper needs to get on this story and find out the truth! And the hero dog needs to be given an honorary Purple Bone and made CEO of Wal-Mart. He's a true hero with a heart made of rainbows.

Well, I can't watch the video because I'm already emotionally delicate right now, but this whole cold-hearted driver subject is one of the things that pisses me off the most. I once had to stop my car and get out and stop traffic because an old lady was teetering on a cane in the middle of the street and no one would stop for her and let her finish crossing. She was stuck there in the middle of the street literally almost falling over waiting while cars wizzed by her.
And then, there was this tragedy earlier this year in CT.....

Note that those cars went on the wrong side of the street to pass and hit him. He ended up paralyzed.

I think the saving doggy was trained to pull hit and run victims to safety. Which is very progressive of (whatever country this is.)

As dumb as it may be, I would slam on my breaks if it meant not hitting a dog on the freeway. And I would probably get out to help. Even if it meant risking my life. Honestly my brain kinda goes out the window when I see an animal in harms way. I just act on impulse.
That's it, I need to go adopt another doggy this weekend.

re: not stopping in 3 lane traffic. In Phoenix, about a year ago, we had someone try to cross an interstate to get his dog . With people driving 80 mph, the young man didn't stand a chance. Was hit several times. It shut down traffic for hours.

Drew: I disagree, having seen a similar situation with 2 injured dogs (one partially paralyzed) during morning commute mayhem. I was not able to stop -- it was simply too dangerous with cars whizzing by at 55. The scene came up & flashed by in an instant, but the images remain seared in my brain.
Everyone: please cross-tie your dogs if you put them in the back of a pickup truck.
What an awesome dog, i really hope those two are okay!! I've seen a dog get hit pretty bad and I couldn't get anyone to pull over and it got hit again. I cried and cried for so long afterwards. I tried to help....:(

I've seen this happen, except the 2nd dog came to check on the first dog and got hit, too. I cried for two days. Thankfully, many people pulled over to help, but I don't know if the dogs survived.

If there is anything in this world that will make me cry, it's seeing a dog in pain.
There is nothing in the world that can consistently make me cry than seeing dogs in pain, so this video made my icy heart melt into a vapor.

I watched the video and it warms my little black heart to see that dog do the unimaginable.
I did notice that there was no place for vehicles to pull over and even if there was a shoulder; it is a busy 3 lanes of traffic, you would be risking not only your life but creating a multi-car accident trying to save the dog.

There is no way on God's green earth that I could watch this. I have called police, rescued strays, and once couldn't function for hours when I saw a squirrel get hit on the road. Whoever took this video and did nothing should be ashamed of themselves. Whoever witnessed it and did nothing to stop and help the poor dog should be fucking shot.
