Tearjerker: Dog Saves Dog!
Warning: this video will make your cinder heart cry a million tears and then spontaneously grow a patch of wild daisies for these precious dogs to run through.
In the video, one pooch is running along the highway and gets hit by a car. As the dog lay in the middle of the highway, another dog comes to the other dog's rescue! The heroic dog drags his injured friend off the highway and out of harm's way. Notice that none of the cars stopped! Those cold ass bitches. Or maybe the cars were all being driven by cats?
According to the YouTube description, the injured furry friend did survive, but I couldn't find any concrete evidence that proves this. Mah Boo Anderson Cooper needs to get on this story and find out the truth! And the hero dog needs to be given an honorary Purple Bone and made CEO of Wal-Mart. He's a true hero with a heart made of rainbows.

The only reason I could watch that video is because you said the dog lived. I don't know what I would do if I hit a dog. I would definitely stop, but I would be so upset. The thought of it makes me want to cry!
I have to say that if I saw a dog get hit, although it would disturb me deeply, there is no way that I am going to stop my car and risk not only my life but the lives of my children to save it.
Last year I was driving to PA, east on rt 80. Right around Sandusky, OH there was this poor dog heading west on the turnpike, going towards traffic. I called 911. I hope that poor dog got help. I'll always wonder.

That video blew my mind. That brave little dog going to the rescue of another dog. And the scummy people continue to drive by. No wonder our (HUMAN) society is so fucked up. A lot of people just don't give a rats.

Umm....I'm pretty sure he was humping that injured dog. The fact that he ended up dragging him off the road is incidental.....what is amazing though is that he braved traffic to hump an injured dog. I mean....yeah, most of us would run out into traffic to hump an injured dog, but that's a dog man, they don't think like people.

hm it is astounding how many ppl here are cursing the "humans" for not stopping and stuffs like that. but it happened on a motorway, and if someone just stopped abruptly can you imagine what kind of accident mightve happened? and of course no one noticed that the special vehicle was called in which meant that someone obviously informed the authorities about it.

The video shows several dogs getting hit by different cars. One dog is hit into a guardrail by a white truck. Another dog is hit by a white car and then a white van. It is laying by a white line and plain pavement, then gets up and walks away.
Then we see two dogs in the middle of the road, now where did the white arrow come from? And then some ridiculous shots of a dog pulling another dog using it's arms??? Very bad job of using a video program to piecework something that didn't happen.

I get that, too. It's heart-rending, but cops are obliged first to protect human life. They don't want the friend hurt or anyone else who hits the brakes to avoid him or her to be hurt.

A cop who arrived on the scene demanded my friend get back in the car and leave. She begged him to let her stay with the dog but he was nasty and she couldn't fight with him. My friend left, turned and saw the dog stand up and look at her. She was brokenhearted.

When does a dog use it's front legs to pull anything? The buddy dog looks like it's humping not pulling. Dogs pull with their teeth -in case you didn't know. And the other dog was run over twice, it's not ok.

That being said, it's not really easy or often possible to stop on a highway without causing an accident. Maybe someone turned around and actually came back later. That's the only problem with video clips - you just don't get the whole story.
My family dog did that for a cat once. The guy who hit him was a REAL asshole - in a 40km side street - he just took off, after he hit it.
Anyhero, the cat was hit in front of my house and my dog had been lounging on the front porch...we heard the screech and ran out to find my dog had gone up to the cat and allowed the cat to embed its nails in his face. He carried it to the grass like that - it let go when they got there. Sweet thing. Sadly, the cat didn't make it in the end:(

When I lived in Japan (as a kid) I saw people take a box of puppies dump them out on the road and when the light changed to green they all went smoosh. It was horrible and they treated dogs like crap. At least here they had the response team come out. I never knew that people could be so cruel but they are!

I once ran into traffic to try to save a chihuahua that was running along an interstate. I wouldn't have done the same for a kid. Does anyone know what happened to these dogs? Did anyone help them? The person that hit the dog should suffer the same fate. What kind of person wouldn't stop? Anyone who treats animals badly doesn't usually treat people any better.

I cried so hard after watching this video. I would have rather it been two people who this happened to and not these or any other animals! I pray that both dogs are OK and both found a good, loving home (hopefully together). I can't stand when animals are hurt or killed, it breaks my heart.
