Lucy Liu Can't Catch A Break
After "Cashmere Mafia" was canned, Lucy Liu took her wonk eye to "Dirty Sexy Money" and it looks like she's unemployed again. A source at ABC told E!'s Kristin that everyone who works on DSM were told yesterday to get in the bread line, because the show has been canceled. ABC only said they have passed on picking up any new episodes for the show. Yup, they're done.
This is why I usually stick to watching reality shows, because they hardly ever get the cut. Whenever I get attached to a real show, the network usually sends it off take a permanent dirt nap. Now where will I get my weekly dose of Lucy Liu, Donald Sutherland, Peter Krause and Jill Calyburgh all wrapped up in a pretty package?
ABC has also canceled "Eli Stone" (I blame Katie Holmes) and "Pushing Daisies." The latter shit I never got into even though crazy bitches basically held knives to my throat, demanding that I surrender myself to the magicalness of the show. They swore to me that I'd fart rainbows. I never did. It always felt like I was watching a really bad episode of Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre.
Eli, DSM and Daisies may be on their way to the graveyard, but ten million versions CSI and Law & Order live on!!!

And true there are a million CSIs but I only do the Vegas show. Grissom, baby. Except looks like he might check out soon. Shit. And I hate the girl who replaced Jorja Fox's character. I cannot watch other CSIs for some weird reason. But w/ L & O I don't care about different actors and can cross over. I'm weird.

I don't really watch much TV...I'm just always too busy. I used to LOVE CSI...but it started getting weird and then a bunch of the original cast quit...and then Marg started wearing low cut tops and getting lip injections. Like they were trying to sex her character up a bit. Needless to say...i cant watch anything with any kind of violence anymore since my kids were born so I haven't watched it in a long time. Yeah...I'm weird like that.

This is the reason I don't watch network shows. The network hacks don't give them a chance to build an audience. It has to be an immediate success to have any type of longevity and even then it's still not a guarantee they will be around next season.

HA HA L.A.- Law and Order is the BEST. I have warm feelings associated with it too- my husband and I veg out, flop on the couch and do the marathons lots. Especially now we barely go out anymore to save $$, oy.
DS$ sucked, so did Eli Stone. I thought PD was popular? Oh well, gear up for a thousand episodes of The Bachelor/ette and The Mole! ABC sucks anyway.
I know I'm in the minority here but I found Pushing Daisies too corny and forced (ducks). I only watched 3 episodes I never made it past those..
Peter Krause is excellent. God DAMN I miss Six Feet Under. Alan Ball needs to bring that back! He'll never top that show. Never.

I have to say, that Dirty Sexy Money is a shitty show. Would have worked about 10 years ago when things were good and people had money. Right now I have no time to see stinking rich folks.
