Lucy Liu Can't Catch A Break
After "Cashmere Mafia" was canned, Lucy Liu took her wonk eye to "Dirty Sexy Money" and it looks like she's unemployed again. A source at ABC told E!'s Kristin that everyone who works on DSM were told yesterday to get in the bread line, because the show has been canceled. ABC only said they have passed on picking up any new episodes for the show. Yup, they're done.
This is why I usually stick to watching reality shows, because they hardly ever get the cut. Whenever I get attached to a real show, the network usually sends it off take a permanent dirt nap. Now where will I get my weekly dose of Lucy Liu, Donald Sutherland, Peter Krause and Jill Calyburgh all wrapped up in a pretty package?
ABC has also canceled "Eli Stone" (I blame Katie Holmes) and "Pushing Daisies." The latter shit I never got into even though crazy bitches basically held knives to my throat, demanding that I surrender myself to the magicalness of the show. They swore to me that I'd fart rainbows. I never did. It always felt like I was watching a really bad episode of Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre.
Eli, DSM and Daisies may be on their way to the graveyard, but ten million versions CSI and Law & Order live on!!!

Damn, I just got into DSM after renting the first season offa Netflix.... I skipped it on network because I've been burned too many times with shows getting cancled. My ass still stings from Deadwood.....

I adore "House", a really loveable character because he's such a dick but a hot and loveable dick, even with the spray on hair, and I can't wait for more love scenes with Cuddy, they are hot together, and she is hot all by herself too..........it's a great show, doubt it will be canceled

"Big Love"'s coming back in January, thank God, love that show! The hot blond from "Mentalist" is sizzling, and it's not a bad show either. There's also the totally hot ginge from Band of Brothers on "Life" with that hot latina chick from L Word, that's not a bad show either. I just hope Weeds doesn't get canceled, I pay for that shit and I love Mary Louise. "L Word" was lame last season but the chicks are so hot, who cares. It probably won't get canceled. Gayelles love it, straight men love it, straight chicks like me love it, too much hotness to miss.

Well, I don't like reality TV. That's the low of the low of TV, so I rather watch 1000 versions of CSI or Law and Order as long as they are good and make sense.

You should check out The Mentalist with that HOT blond dude. You'd want to do nasty things to his no-no hole for reals. I know I do on a weekly basis! Pushing Daises was too meta for me...couldn't get into it either, no matter how much my former roommate insisted.

I heard Pushing Daisies was pretty good but never bothered to check it out. Nothing can replace Dead Like Me. Stupid bastards at Showtime, they really screwed up when they cancelled that show.
Why even bother showing crap anymore it seems like everything the networks put out there they cancel after a few episodes. Thanks but I'll stick to Bravo, showtime and HBO. At least if HBO and showtime cancels something I can cuss them out because I pay for their asses. You'd be surprise how much a protest works on those fools. I'll never forgive them for Carnival but other than that they're pretty good with keeping their lineup. And when the hell is Big Love coming back?

I keep hearing about House and how people say it is amazing. I have yet to see it. I should download the previous seasons first.. something has to be good if it has such a following. I also like Hugh Laurie in other things he's been in onscreen.

Totally agree! Vince D'Onofrio is a genius! I also like, besides his massive acting talent, how high-pitched his voice gets when he gets upset!! SVU overall is a much better show though, CI is a bit formulaic. But both rule.
ok.. just don't fuck with House and I will survive. And yes.. L&O marathons are my guilty pleasure on cloudy days when I get all depresed and stuff..nothing like crime scenes to make me feel better.

The only show mentioned that I watched was "Pushing Daisies" and even then, I struggled with it (some snappy dialogue but as a previous poster commented, seemed forced).
And of all the people affected, the ones I have the most sympathy for are those behind the cameras.

And of course America's Next Top Model. The show I love to hate. I usually fast forward till like the last 20 minutes, to see the photo shoots and who gets the axe. Tyra bugs me but I deal with it.

As long as they don't cancel Mad Men, Always Sunny, and Testees I don't really give a shit about any other show(s). In fact they should just cancel all those shows and bring back Arrested Development.
