Salma Hayek Is A Breastfedding Addict

Salma Hayek will probably be getting thousands of letters from sick fuck dudes willing to suck on her magnificent leche balls in order to feed her addiction to breastfeeding. Salma said that she just can't stop breastfeeding her 13-month-old daughter Valentina.

She told Style Magazine (via FoxNews), "I'm like an alcoholic. It is like, I don't care if I cry, I don't care if I am fat, I am just going to do it for one more week, one more month, and then when I see how much good it is doing her and I can't stop. The myth that says you lose all this weight when you breastfeed! That is so not true! It's like, please, will everyone stop telling me I look really well."

Salma's chichis are the 8th World Wonder, so I care about their well-being. Salma must check herself into Promises before it's late. She's going to start traveling around the world, sticking her titty melon into the mouths of any baby she comes across. And when she runs out of babies, she's going to move on to toddlers and then... Well, hopefully it never gets to that.

Dear Salma, watch this clip below. Don't let this happen to you!!!

Thanks Jill

hmph. i'm not really sure what to say here....ewwww, maybe? breastfeeding is wonderful, i nursed my kids until they were 18mos old, but nursing an eight year old - jesus christ, that's just wrong and creepy!!

Princesaja's picture

i couldn't finish watching that video. that is child abuse, im sorry.
Look in nature--animals do not continually nurse their babies. that is just disgusting.

the point of nursing a child with milk is to provide them nutrients to fight off infections because they are TOO YOUNG to eat real food, ie meat. Once a child begins to grow teeth, they are ready for solid food.

there is no excuse for this whatsoever.

If she is doing this just for the benefit that breast milk gives a child, then why not pump then they can drink it out of a proper container. This is just sick.

It's amazing to me that this woman thinks there's nothing disgusting in what she's doing. Where I live no one breastfeeds unless they can't afford to buy formula. I just threw up my dinner, this is so disgustingly foul. Breastfeeding is fine, but this woman isn't right. Does the dad watch while she feeds her daughters, GROSS.

Re: the statement Where I live no one breastfeeds unless they can't afford to buy formula: that's sad. It's an established medical fact that breast milk is best for babies (I'm not talking about 7-year-olds now). The more educated a population is, the more widespread breastfeeding is. To refuse to breastfeed because you find it "gross" is ignorant, plain and simple.

TequilaTax's picture

Wait...isn't Selma's boobies part silly-cone? Can you do that and still breast feed?

Selma: If people are telling you you look good, take the complement and shut up. You are going to be more upset if they don't.

Have to disagree with you there. I'd let David chow on one of mine even though they don't produce milk. ;-)

That is exactly what went through my mind when I saw that clip. Now I know where Dave and Matt came up with that character.

I was just going to post that! That skit grosses me out.

FYI, the World Health Organization recommends nursing until at least 2 years old, or "as long as is mutually desired by the mother and child".

Average world weaning age is 5-7 years old.

I nursed my youngest until he self-weaned at two.

You go, Salma!

On Salma - I just want to curl up and fall asleep between them.

On those girls - Oh. My. God.

Like I said before, she had the remind the kid "no monkey business" before she would let her nurse. Then while she was suckling, she affectionately called the child a monkey anyway. So it's obvious there are inappropriate behaviors going on, even for this loopy mom.

18 months should be the stopping point for breastfeeding.

That video is a good example of child abuse.

This reminds me of that skit on Little Britain with the grown man demanding "bitte" from his mother.

Once the child can feed him or herself, it's time to STOP! Every child I have known who has gone on much longer has turned out to be a spoiled, demanding little brat!

These mothers are doing it for themselves, not their kids. They WANT the kids to depend on them forever and won't allow the apron strings to stretch, much less break!

letinstar's picture

breastfeeding is natural, but when you're old enough to use a tampon, then you need to get off the tit...

I guess that's what bugs me, Angel. You always need your mom, right? It's just that the kind of support she gives, needs to change as you grow up.
*******************************

I dunno...but it doesn't bug me. I like the negotiaton - there are boundaries and they seem to live out in the middle of nowhere. It's not all sexed up like it is here. I think it's gotta change too but, like I said: at some point it just got on my nerves. And I felt bad cuz my kid wasn't QUITE ready herself...but relationships include sacrifice so too bad, so sad. She seems cool and her kids seems cool. I dunno. I can't judge here - I'd need to see a whole lot more of their life first.

And, obviously, I'm just not very physically..um...restrained, I guess? I mean my kid does snuggle up to my boobies...will sometimes put her head on them or playfully squeeze them - she loves them, they're like her security blankie that she never lost. And THAT doesn't bother me (in private!) and, like I said, its never in the least bit sexual....

Honestly tho, if it was here - it would obviously just be too hard socially; she'd have to make a choice or they'd all suffer, fersure.

I'm at a loss as to who is more addicted to breastfeeding (in that messed up video) the mother or the child(ren). When a child is old enough to verbally ask for, or should I say DEMAND the tit, that kid is too old to be trailing around after the mother like a nursing kitten, clawing its way to the teat. This is so messed up there are no words. And was that girl actually groaning and moaning when she suckled, or was that my stomach dry heaving?

I will admit that I avoided watching this all day. I didn't want to be disturbed. While it's not something I could do - I don't think she's all fucked up. She comes across as ok to me...but then I'm almost never offended by someone who doesn't see things the way I do.

That being said - it TOTALLY reminded me of this! LOL:

It's up to us to teach them that some touching is not respectful.
*******************************

Yeah - I don't really think about it like that...my DD and I are VERY touchy feely but I've managed to still teach her that it's not always appropriate. But I find it bizarre taht a woman wouldn't WANT her body back by then...I mean, even a progressive breeder...I think it's just an understanding that the child has to become independent and that independence comes in steps. Relying on your mom for that excessive amount of comfort - really...will a hug not suffice by then? - is, well - in the very literal sense of the term - retarded. It's slow development and should prolly be looked at.

and as for arousal during breastfeeding, please, that NEVER happened. I was too busy enjoying my son's beautiful face.

But I do agree that a child should stop breastfeeding upon entering preschool. Just my opinion for this forum.

Maybe it is because I, like Salma, am Mexican, but I see nothing wrong with breastfeeding until your child weans itself. It is common in Mexico and other Latin American countries to breastfeed for a prolonged period of time, and there is certainly no stigma attached to that. Breast milk is the best start you can give your children, providing them with the full support nature intended.

I breastfed my son till he was 3 yrs old. He never got sick, even when i had the flu and such. He was and remains a healthy happy, well adjusted individual. Now, at the age of sixteen, he is so self-assured and secure with who he is. I firmly believe his early nurturing had lots to do to with his sunny disposition.

New Moms - I urge to to breastfeed. Yes, it perhaps it will be somewhat painful the first few weeks, but thereafter it is easy. The benefits to your child are far more important.

Right, and it also teaches you that others are not there for your one-sided gratification.

At seven, you should be looking to mama for help on how to cut your food and guidance on keeping your napkin in your lap.

Boundaries are healthy. When you are no longer an infant, your mother's body is not your food source. It belongs to the next child or it belongs to her. Not you.
*****************************

You know - i was thinking this exact same thing. Boundaries are healthy. Helping your children understand that your own body has boundaries helps them to respect the boundaries of their own bodies and of those around them. I think using your mom (and, no, it's no longer a food source at that point) in that way for so long is setting some pretty unhealthy examples.

Running up to your mom and lifting her shirt in public is (how do you say?) "uncool".

Okay so serious question but why does everyone think that this is so harmful for the child? Granted breastfeeding an eight year old is not something I would do if I were a mother. But as long as the child and the mother are both comfortable with it I don’t see what the big deal is.
