People who believe in random shit without a shred of evidence just because they need to believe in something (i.e., followers of ANY religion) need to get the fuck over the fact that there will always be people out there who will, at the very least, not care about their religious hang-up bullshit. You'd think people of such strong 'faith' wouldn't be so fucking horrified whenever they're confronted with an opposing view or represetnation that might be slightly less-than-flattering. When I saw her walking around with that costume on TV, I thought of how there's always one kid at the Halloween party with a ridiculously elaborate costume. Everyone's impressed at first but then the kid can't move around in it and bumps into everyone. He/she quickly goes from the star of the evening to the annoyance everyone just wants to go home.

I know, I know. It's just that it's a completely different culture. It's not ok for them to see someone dressed as a revered goddess posing for the cameras and having fun. Kinda like dressing as Hitler for halloween, or Jesus on the cross. It's bound to be taken as something offensive.
