SPOILER ALERT! I don't watch "Grey's Anatomy," but for those of you that do, you might want to skip this shit. A bitch and has been axed from the show and unfortunately it's not Katherine Heeeeiiggglll. Find out who will be in the unemployment line today after the jump. JUMP!!!!
Brooke Smith, who played Dr. Gayelle aka Dr. Hahn, has been fired from the show and it came from the network and not series creator Shonda Rhimes. According to the Ausiello Files, ABC was getting all nervous about Dr. Hahn's lezzzzbian relationship with Callie. I guess that this season Dr. Hahn and Callie have been getting all lesbionic and shit. Well, that relationship will end forever on this Thursday's episode. It will also be Dr. Hahn's last episode and the lil' lesbian will shuffle off to a place where girls sucking on each other's coochies is accepted and applauded (aka Home Depot).
Shonda issued this statement and claims the firing of Brooke has nothing to do with the fact that her character liked to suckle on the labia:
"Brooke Smith was obviously not fired for playing a lesbian. Clearly it's not an issue as we have a lesbian character on the show -- Calliope Torres. Sara Ramirez is an incredible comedic and dramatic actress and we wanted to be able to play up her magic. Unfortunately, we did not find that the magic and chemistry with Brooke's character would sustain in the long run. The impact of the Callie/Erica relationship will be felt and played out in a story for Callie. I believe it belittles the relationship to simply replace Erica with 'another lesbian.' If you'll remember, Cristina mourned the loss of Burke for a full season."
Kristin at E! claims Dr. Hahn's exit isn't the only way "Grey's" is getting de-gayelled. Melissa George starts on the show this month as a bi-sexual intern. She was supposed to be a new love interest for Callie, but that's been thrown out. An insider claims the two characters will flirt, but will leave it at that. There won't be any clam bumping.
I'm just going to blame all of this on Katherine Heeeeiggggl. All of it. She obviously despises the gayelles and wants them nowhere near her. Okay, that's probably not true, but let's just go with it. Life is much easier when you blame it all on Katherine. Ugh.
I don't know why Disney hates the gayelles, because they shouldn't. Daisy Duck totally loves the ladies. It's obvious. Daisy Dyke!

Jeez this show is such a borefest, I can't believe people still watch it, much less care to read about it.
I can't watch this show, I've tried more than once it's annoying and boring.

I only started watching this shit show this season because Kevin McKidd was going to be on, and was pleasantly surprised to see Brooke Smith, who I always enjoy in whatever bit parts she get on the shows I watch/have watched (Weeds, Law & Order, Six Feet Under).
I loved her monologue last week about the leaves. Reminded me of when I got glasses at age 9. I had the same moment with cracks in the sidewalk and gravel in the road. Not only that, but it was brilliantly done. She's a hell of an actress, and seeing some shitty blog posts out there about her being "ugly" really pisses me off.
After this bullshit, I'll stop watching when Kevin McKidd's run is over. Fucking-A.

I actually liked Callie and Dr. Hahn together. I think it's pretty lame that TV is still stuck in the 50s... especially since my favorite gay couple on Desperate Housewives are just secondary characters now.

Yeah because having lesbian characters on a show is so radical and controversial. Lame, the lesbian angle is probably some straight ABC execs douche's wet dream and he had Shonda write it into the show...notice how it wasn't two of the hot leading men, now that would've gotten me to tune in.
