The Photoshop Awards: Kate Winslet On Vanity Fair
Kate Winslet looks like some kind of Catherine Deneuve/lion/alien hybrid on the cover of Vanity Fair. What's with all these magazines turning bitches into praying mantis aliens for their covers? Don't get me wrong, I'd still brush Kate's lion mane and prance around in her shoes, but this shit looks nothing like her ass.
Speaking of naked ass Kate Winslet, Halle Berry had this to say about her in Esquire (via P6): "Kate Winslet is always naked, sitting on a toilet, running buck-naked. She's free. I want to be the kind of actress who can really be comfortable with my body like that"
Thanks for that visual, Halle. Now when I look at this cover, I'm picturing Kate sitting on a toilet, with a coat around her shoulders, looking regal while pushing out a perfectly airbrushed butt nugget.

I noticed a quote on one of those pictures of her saying she never saw herself as an actress b/c she 'was fat'. Really? I know she isn't size 2 like most but she has never, EVER been fat. No WAY.

I don't care much for the hair here...but I love her, she is a beautifu, talented actress. One of my favs for sure.
She's supposed to be done up here looking like Catherine Deneuve, and she does. However, I like her better as her normal self. She's a true beauty, inside and out.
the idea of the shoot is to make her look like catherine deneuve, that's why she doesn't look like herself.

No one is saying that Winslet is not pretty, just that whoever is on the cover of V.F is some sort of computer animation of a mix of features that might have included a skin cell or two of Kate's but most definitely does not look like her in the slightest.
