Finally! Cindy McCain On SNL

I was totally waiting for the night Cindy McCain would make an appearance on "SNL" in some way, shape or form and figured it wasn't going to happen since Amy Poehler (the only ho who could really play Cindy) is dealing with something called a newborn baby. I know, selfish, right?

Well, the little doll lover made it to "SNL" last night and played herself in the opening QVC sketch with her maverick-ey husband John McCain and Tina Fey. Those bitches at QVC don't have shit on Cindy. She seriously has a career in QVC jewelry modeling.

I didn't watch the rest of the show, because I decided to grab a bottle of vodka, watch "The Darjeeling Limited" and slowly drift into dreamland with visions of Adrien Brody's beautiful nose dancing in my head. I swear, I just want to cuddle with it. Sorry, let's get back on topic! Click here if you give an eff about seeing the other skits.

Also, Starbucks is giving out free coffees to hos who vote on Tuesday. Those cheap ass fucks are only giving out small regular coffees though! They should have given out jumbo Frapps! Brit Brit would have found a way to vote at least 100 times.

Let us not forget or we are doomed to repeat it.

"What nobody should cavil at, however, is that the United States rid the world of a tyrant whose inhumanity to mankind was almost beyond imagination in its scope and butchery. That is something that Iraqis who survived, and the rest of the world, should not be allowed to forget."

No. I don't think people know what Congress is there for. The President makes up the ideas for Congress to allow to go forward. Congress has a job of saying yay or nay.
****************

You are correct. That's why in the 1930's the term for congressmen changed to March (not January) so as to not coincide with that of the President, eliminating a "lame duck session".
Jesus that was boring. sorry!

The President (in my opinion, of course) is a referee. There isn't much they can do on their own without the support of Congress.
*******************

Right on! Don't people realize that Congress has all the power? The President is merely a "PR" person for the U.S....
*******************************

So true. I often feel frustrated by all the attention that is placed on only a couple of people when I know, straight-up, those people aren't really calling all the shots. They're frontmen. Whatever they want you to see, that's what you see. It was evident to me a long time ago that Obama is supposed to be elected. It's just the way they've been presenting him - when he gets into power, he'll do what he's told; when they want him out they'll present him in a new light. Because democracy is not really about freedom. It's about manipulation as opposed to force.

I really don't believe the powers that be are nearly as divided as all y'all down here.

I don't think every Republican is intolerant. Old school Republicans are respectable. It's this new brand that's wacky. You have to admit that it has been hijacked. Ever since the '70s with Nixon, the Repubs have openly used the famous "Southern Strategy" which is to gain power by use of white, particularly southern, racism. It's an open secret. Anyone, who votes for McCain or Bush, I just can't see the sense in it. Even if I can't generalize, it's hard to wrap your head around that one. I'll say this. Republicans tend to be very "nationalistic".
I guess it just comes down to two parties who just have different economic views. Personally, I think some Repubs are too strict about their view of anti "big government" (whatever that still means) that it's almost a religion rather than a workable idea. I just can't see anyone who votes for McCain as not having their head stuck in the sand.

Just because someone is Republican, that does not make them anti-gay. I live in California and I've seen countless cars with Yes on 8 signs driving around and guess what? ALL of them have Obama '08 stickers right next to them!

I agree. I think debates between intelligent adults is great however, it never seems to stay on that level. It always ends up with people attacking each other for opinions.

r5bales's picture

A couple of things, the comments about the GOP, gayness and intolerance? I have found more intolerance from those who claim they are more tolerant than anyone on the planet. I mean, who just told the GOP posters to hit the road? We are just having a relatively intelligent debate here.

I am more concerned that the House and Senate (who are way below GWB in the confidence polls) and the Presidency will be Democrat controlled. That has far reaching consequences. As a half owner in a business that will have to pay 39% corporate taxes. We will probably have to cut 2 employees in order to pay the taxes these guys are proposing.

Wealth redistribution is not the job of the government. Government is to provide services. If the Feds get your money, it will be lost down the black hole they have created. Look at the social security fund.

While McCain isn't everything I want him to be, he does have a record of wanting and spending less of my money. Barry has a record of wanting more of my money to redistribute. Thanks but no thanks.

Dot. Of course you know I'm talking about your unprovoked, inarticulate attacks on me in a race fight thread months ago.

You think Obama is socialist and yet we're supposed to believe you're no republican. Are you Facist then? Getting closer?

Even among dems, Obama is considered a conservative. Not remotely a socialist. That is laughable fear mongering on your part.

MK is gay. He may not be a dem. Most gays are dems because they value human dignity and social responsibility. fact.

That is all.

.

Who's the celebrity now?

It's funny to me because in the past weeks McCain and Sarah Pain have been on Entertainment Tonight, SNL, US Weekly, People magazine. At the beginning of their campaign they were running ads saying that Obama was a celebrity, yet Sarah Pain seems to be in love with the limelight. Here she and McCain are--doing the celebrity thing. Did I miss something? I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. So sad. Did anyone see that Sarah Palin Prank Call from Nicholas Sarkosy? She's an idiot!

It was supposed to be a heavily contested race, but only one winner showed up: Obama.
