Over The Hill
Surprise everyone! "The King of the Hill" is on still on television....but not for long. Fox has dethroned the King after 13 seasons. There won't be a 14th season. Try not to cry. You'll ruin your slutty Hallopeen make-up.
Mike Judge and Greg Daniels created the show which premiered in 1997. They went on to do other crap, but Mike Judge still does voices for the show along with Brittany Murphy, Tommy Petty and other hos.
I don't think I've ever seen a full episode of this shit. I did meet a dude in a bar once and he claimed he worked on the show. I blew him in the back of his car, so I sort of contributed to the show in my own way.
For those of you that will miss seeing these hillbillies on TV, just remember that we'll always have Brit Brit.

It's a spoof of rednecks. The episode on buying "carbon footprint offsetting" was areala funny and even informative!

It was consistently funny, not laugh out loud funny like Family Guy or sometimes the Simpsons, but very hip.

Mm. No, not hillbillies. Rednecks, maybe. The distinction is important. I liked this show. It was one of the few examples I can bring to mind where Texans were depicted accurately and kindly in a TV show.
Probably because Mike Judge is a Texan.

kathy najimy is best as peg, one of the few funny characters.
My favorite episode was when Hank took Bobby to the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp, in Wichita Falls, TX. My hometown, where I have lived all my 35 years......... too cool. It was so funny seeing all the local sights in cartoon form. Second favorite was when Hank was mistaken for a Pimp. Gonna miss this show. Thank God for FX. I watch King of the Hill and That 70's show everyday!!!

I love this show I am very saddened that is going to end. Maybe the creators of The Simpsons might get a clue and stop it, its getting very unfunny and just plain bad.
What a shame I like the episode when Hank goes to traffic school and Bobby does a stand up routine inspired by his white roots:

It doesn't get funnier than that.

When I was younger I used to watch this show religiously (don't blame me for living in a conservative town and finding the depictions accurate and hilarious). I haven't watched it for a few years, but the ones that I have seen are actually pretty good.
Don't hate on King of the Hill.
I friggin' love this show, but can't deny that it's had a good run.
My favorite was when Dale became convinced he had rabies, goes feral, and begins eating (magic) mushrooms in the woods for sustenance....

NOOOOOOOOO! This is one of my favorite shows... definitely one of the funniest shows on television right now.
I like that show! It's really really genuinely funny! And I was shocked on how long it's been on. And Peggy Hill is what Sarah Palin totally bases her look on. Maybe that's why she's let her hair down recently!

No shade for this show! I love the episode when Bobby learned to fight by kicking people in the balls. When he tried to kick Peggy, not realizing Peggy doesn't have balls. Needless to say, that was the end of that!

fuck, I love this show. Suppose I'll have to live off the reruns on FX. Although, its better to end a show while its still funny rather than let it continue to reek, die, and recycle plots three or four times like the bloody Simpsons. They haven't been funny since the late 90's.
