Fighting Cholas On Amazing Race

Last night, I was busy doing hood rat stuff and being gross when I checked my e-mail and found that a few of you whores had written me with the subject: FIGHTING CHOLAS ON AMAZING RACE. I immediately turned on the TV and expected to see those Amazing Race hobags in a Sharpie fight with some gorgeous chola beauties named Smiley Girl or Baby Gigglez. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

They had to fight with wrestling cholas from Bolivia! They were still hot, but all natural and shit. There's a difference. It was still entertaining, but I was a little disappointed that Tina (below) didn't do the challenge. I mean, if you dye her hair dark burgundy and trace her no-brows with a Sharpie, she'll kind of look like one. Her chola name can be La Bitch Face.

My friends actually made a documentary about these very women called The Fighting Cholitas. It's really interesting to see the backgrounds of the cholitas and the traditions they are trying to uphold.

Dear Michael K.,

"Chola" & "cholita" (a slightly more affectionate term) have a distinct meaning in the Andes (i.e., Peru & Bolivia). A chola or cholo is an indigenous person (not quite a mestizo) from the sierra or altiplano. A cholo is someone who retains enough autochthonous ("Indian") traits (generally physical & behavioral) to be looked down upon by those who consider themselves more European in demeanor.

@TITS: You should see this guy. He is a taller, slightly more masculine version of Ryan Gaycrest (but still way too metrosexual for my taste).

I used to work with him sometimes. He often brought his pretty, underweight, submissive fiancee with him. He was such an ass that he was condescending to her in front of strangers.

Anysadnews, Felipe just quit the annoying celeb bashing show where he used to just sit there and say crazy shit as always or sit on the guests. His spokeswhore told me he's kinda having a meltdown (he's off his meds)but i think he's just bored. Making La Pequeña vids takes all their money, Felipe does the filming and the manager/spokeswhore gets the weaves, makeup and shit. It's as low budget as it looks cause, well, they don't have no money!

Shows like this are part of the reason I don't watch TV.

I met a guy who won, one year, before I knew what the show was. He was the most arrogant, stuck up a-hole. The funny thing is, when he told me he won "The Amazing Race" (this was four years ago), I was like: "Cool, you won a race. Why was it so amazing?'

Of course he got even more pissed off by my not being familiar with the show.
