In all seriousness, I've never dreamed more about books and characters in them than the Twilight series. One morning I actually woke up in a panic and threw off the covers and started running out of bed because the Volturi were chasing me! I was utterly sad and lonely after I finished the series when I'd wake up in the morning and knew I couldn't check in on Edward and Bella. However, that said, I find it hard to believe that teen actors will be able to convey the angst of the books on film.

AHHHH TWILIGHT! Can't wait for the movie! I'm finishing the last book tonight, and I already know it's going to be a bittersweet experience; as much as I LOVE the Bella/Edward/Cullen family story, I find Stephenie Meyer's writing to be painfully cheap and redundant. I'm a book snob, but that didn't stop me from reading all 4 books in a two-weak span!

Ah...Twilight. Pure crack-fic at it's best..It's absolutely terrible - yet- can't.stop.reading. I could visually picture Stephenie Meyer writing the book and wearing a t-shirt saying "ONLY LOSERS USE A THESAURUS".
It also doesn't help that Robert Pattinson's blatant and utter disgust for the books (HA!) are a complete turn on to me. So yeah, I'll be there for Twilight's opening day.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was thinking that! I didn't want to say anything and then get a total smackdown from the DL regulars.
I'm not 100% sold based on the trailer and the script (which I downloaded and read) and I'm not 100% sure that I like Kristen Stewart as Bella (she seems too monotone and boooooooring)... but Rob Pattinson as Edward is more than enough to get my ass in the seat.
Plus, it's totally un-true to the books, but James (Cam Gigan-whatever) is effing hot and they gave him a much larger amount of screen/story time. So that's happy news too!
