Does This Mean They're Not Getting Back Together?
Travis Barker is slowly recovering from the plane crash that put him in the hospital and killed his two close friends. He took to his MySpace to thank the people close to him and the hospital staff for their support and hard work. He said he will undergo his 7th surgery on Monday. Travis can move all the fingers in his right hand and he started eating meat again because the doctors said he needs the protein. He said that seeing DJ AM after he was discharged is an inspiration. Travis also used this time to bitch slap Shanna Moakler. Aww, just like the old days!
The diss to Shanna has been removed from the MySpace main page for some reason, but is still on Travis' blog. He writes:
Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, Ive been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and in Georgia. The hospitals Ive been treated at are THE BEST.
Travis must be feeling a lot better if he's dissing Shanna on MySpage. It's nice to see that some things never change. Hopefully, Shanna puts her fingers away and doesn't respond. But you know she will.

I can tell you as a child who was in a similar position - your boy will remember all this. Both the fathers actions and your re-actions. It is virtually impossible to regain trust and respect from a child when it's lost at a young age.

A mature adult would have worded it differently but given what we've seen of Travis and Shanna it's safe to say that neither of them possess a maturity level greater than a bitchy thirteen year old girl.
In Shanna's defense, if what I said is true, some people have a hard time understanding that their loved one isn't the only patient on the ward and also, may not be the patient with the most needs at the time.

Maybe, but it's just a weird thing to say, even if it's just to clear up rumors. The underlying anger is fairly obvious.
I'm just tired of parents, regardless of gender, who don't put their kids first. Like it or lump it, that;s their mom. He picked her, fucked her, and made a bunch of babies with her. Anything said about her (or she says about him) is a direct reflection on them.
Trust - my BD could stand a really good shot at winning "Douchebag of the decade," but i don't tell the boy that because he is HALF HIM. The last thing I'd want is my pride and joy thinking he's half douchbag.

The way his statement read to me is that Shanna may have been complaining publicly about how she felt hospital staff have been treating Travis while he's a patient and he wanted to clarify that he did not agree with the anything she may have said.

I get the feeling Shanna is a shallow self absorbed bitch and is very lazy. He seems to be a nice dad. I would be annoyed if I was in the hospital and my douche ex was using it as a way to get publicity. I dunno.
