Does This Mean They're Not Getting Back Together?
Travis Barker is slowly recovering from the plane crash that put him in the hospital and killed his two close friends. He took to his MySpace to thank the people close to him and the hospital staff for their support and hard work. He said he will undergo his 7th surgery on Monday. Travis can move all the fingers in his right hand and he started eating meat again because the doctors said he needs the protein. He said that seeing DJ AM after he was discharged is an inspiration. Travis also used this time to bitch slap Shanna Moakler. Aww, just like the old days!
The diss to Shanna has been removed from the MySpace main page for some reason, but is still on Travis' blog. He writes:
Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, Ive been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and in Georgia. The hospitals Ive been treated at are THE BEST.
Travis must be feeling a lot better if he's dissing Shanna on MySpage. It's nice to see that some things never change. Hopefully, Shanna puts her fingers away and doesn't respond. But you know she will.

Not a Shanna fan either, but she rode on the bus with him all the way across the country so he could be in a burn center near his kids. That hardly sounds selfish of her.
He's really immature for slinging mud at her like that. According to Us Weekly, she rushed to his side and because he was so afraid to go on a plane again, she and his dad drove him back to LA from North Carolina or Georgia or wherever this happened. She was under no obligation to do that. Maybe she wants to get the kids back into school and not disrupt their routine. Maybe it's hard for her to see him like that. I don't even like these two hos, but give her the benefit of the doubt, sheesh.
I have Shanna on my Myspace and I don't think I've seen a bulletin or a blog post from her yet. She was extremely quiet to my knowledge and rushed to his side and took their children. Paris Hilton on the other hand was doing interviews about Travis and DJ AM which she had no fucking right to. But she's a publicity whore and doesn't care that she used someone's death and tragedy for attention and publicity.

I've always respected Travis for his dedication to his kids -- including the older girl Oscar de la Hoya spilled sperm for but doesn't parent -- but this constant verbal bitch-slapping back and forth is stupid, immature and DAMAGING TO THEIR CHILDREN. Not trying to be combative, but at this point, isn't voting independent like throwing a quarter in the ocean. Yeah, it's there but no one's going to see it.
It would be great if the independents could have their voices heard and get more money to back them, but at this point in the election cycle, it seems pointless. Not to be combative...just sayin'

Crazy shit! I mean it was SO exaggerated how they were "near death" but yet typing on their Myspaces. I am "Facebook Friends" with DJ AM and he's posting on his FB pretty regulary, taking pics, ect, so i duno? People from all over poured out sympanthy to these two, but what about the pilots who DIED? They had/having a little benefit for Travis' assistant who died, but what about the "non famous" people?

Well, looking at the photos from the guy's hospital bed, really-he wasn't deathly ill, he couldn't have been burned as seriously as was first reported.
He's not in a isolation room, no one (visiting)is wearing gowns and gloves....(which-if you were suffering serious burns, you would be).

This seems like he is actually more angry that he hasn't seen seen her since the first week in hospital...
The EX- line takes the emphasis, but I think the real issue is what he typed following... these two seriously are not over one another and need to go to therapy, whether they are ever a couple again!
Travis is like so mature...really...he should be lucky that people even care about his dirty ass! What band was he in again? Shanna is his EX-wife, there are limits to how much she should care about the father of her children.

this is childish and in poor taste. if Shanna has gone around bad-mouthing the hospitals, he needs to address this directly with the hospital administration. at the end of the day, as the mother of his children, she cared enough to go to him in a time of crisis. she is not perfect. she has never been perfect. but her heart was in the right place. it is mean-spirited of Travis to post this publicly and to humiliate her like this. his near miss with death has not taught him about kindness, and grace, and patience. perhaps karma will find a way to teach him these values. there's time yet.
I don't say this stuff about his dad (negative in tone)to my kid-I know how harmful that would be to him.
