The basement baby's lesser known older sister has a video out for "If I Were A Boy." I know. Isn't that sweet? Basement baby's sister is trying to have a singing career. It's cute and kind of endearing.
The video is some dramatic shit. The beginning looks like a student film version of the old CK Be commercials. Edgy, edgy. The rest is Beyonce bringing out the pure emotion. About 3:30 into it, everything stops and Beyonce proves what a phenomenal actress she is in a dramatic scene between her male co-star. It's like watching two snails try to dance. You know Daddy Knowles is going to submit this shit for Oscar consideration.

I'm gonna make a long story short (prolly not, but I'll try). My mom's neighbors are a married couple with three children. They don't have much but they get by. I found out this morning that the husband, who has had a cold, started coughing up blood. The Mrs. took him to the hospital. He has pneumonia and will be there for a few days.
Well, today is also the Mrs. birthday. I already bought the stuff to make her a cake. My mom says we should take the cake to the hospital. My mom doesn't have any $, I don't have much, but mom thinks we should buy get well balloons and happy b-day balloons, and take them also. That's nice but if I was in the Mrs. shoes, I'd just want some $. Not that I have a lot to give her but anything helps. Well, my mom is all thinking like a girl and I'm thinking of the practical.
What do you all think? AGREE WITH ME. I'll make her read it.
oh and something else, just a couple of weeks ago the Mr.'s father, who was back in Mexico, fell ill, so they took their savings and sent his mother who lived with them, back to be with her husband. He died before she got there. :*(

Whenever we went out together, people constantly asked us "what are you?" We were like, uh, human the last time we checked. People totally treated us like animals in a zoo. Heeeheeeheee. A few years back, I worked at a restaurant. Every Thursday a large group of bikers came in. They were all on a 12 step program for various reasons. Most were recovering drinkers and cocaine. Anyways every week they would come in and tell stories and once I asked them if any of them ever went to jail for anything. (This was months after I got to know them) A few said yes. One guy said after he came down from a rampage where he was chasing imaginery bats on a highway. I did not ask him what drugs started this "bat rampage". Anyways I learned alot about changing one's direction in life from those old used up bikers. They were a good example of do not judge people on their outsides. Most of them were very sensitive when you got to know them.
Well I can listen to brit's new song a few times, I can't listen to Beyonce's song AT ALL. It sucks in every way! It's slow , so slow and boring.
