Bossy, there are platform shoes designed so that it's not visible from the outside. Sometimes people have one leg shorter than the other, and that is medically necessary.
Yeah, I know about orthopedic shoes but Tom Cruise isn't wearing those. He's wearing normal Nike Air Force Ones. Why is dlisted (as a community) insisting they're platforms that are not visible from the outside? Because he's not tall? Meh, I think a lot of people just like to hate on Tom Cruise but I don't really think we need to make up platform shoes to make fun of him, there are plenty of other things.

Sneakers are too white/clean for one thing. Immaculate, fresh-out-of-the-box tennis shoes always make one look slightly the retard. I always make sure mine are scuffed up a bit before wearing them out.

I know Tom is a bit of a freak but it's nice to see that he's not an asshole when it comes to photographers.
Most celebs would be yelling, pouting, etc. if their kid was being photographed or if they were being photographed, but Tom's smiling and waving, even when they snap pics of him in the store. It's refreshing.
