Natalie Cole Is In The Hospital
According to People, Natalie Cole has been laid up in a hospital in NYC since last Friday. Natalie's rep said: "She was doing press in New York last week when she got really sick due to chemotherapy she was undergoing to treat her hepatitis."
Natalie was diagnosed with hep C this past April. The docs think she got it over 25 years ago from her heroin use.
Natalie's rep also said that she will go back to Los Angeles in the next few days where she will be on bed rest for an entire month. All of her October appearances have been postponed.
Homegirl should stay in bed and enjoy some hospital Jello. I don't know why, but I fucking love hospital Jello. Most people think it tastes like watered down Kool-Aid piss, but I love that crap.
In addition to eating plenty of hospital Jello, she should also watch Milo & Otis at least twelve times. I know, I've been on a major Milo & Otis kick recently. That movie is the meaning of life. Yikes .. I am totally missing the whole cute factor. Once I got to the scene with the Bear ... I totally freaked out and had to stop watching. It was like a little kitten/pug snuff film for fuck's sake. The way the pug was going underwater and popping up like a canine cork .. Damn!

i thought i was the only grown up who absolutely LOVED Milo & Otis....that movie is adorably addictive.
Milo & Otis is the BEST movie of all time. My kids watched it over and over and over...
We even got a pug and named it Otis, and an orange cat and named it Milo. Our Otis just died a couple of years ago. His pawprint is on the mantel with his picture, next to my kids' graduation photos.

so, when i was in high school, i played the harp. yes, i was a little faggy boy who liked to hold teaparties and i played the harp. anyway, my harp teacher played for natalie cole's wedding to some local preacher man. she said it was awful - apparently at the reception, natalie had each of the tables named after one of her hit songs (hit songs?). not only were they each named after a hit song, but also themed as such. rumor had it that she was marrying preacher man for his money, but she stiffed my teacher out of 30% of her fee - and yet, she was classy enough to have bottles of chanel no.5 at key locations, for use as air freshener.

Damn, seeing those little kittens at the end reminds me of the poor lifeless arctic fox cubs I saw at school today. Arctic foxes are killed by farmers that consider them a pest and the biology department recieves their bodies for research. And today we had to dissect foxes and one of the bags contained a female with her cubs and it just broke my heart...
On a brighter note, has any of you seen the movie The Bear? God I love that movie, the best animal movie ever!
Damn I LOVED that movie. The only person that would watch it on VHS with me was the family bulldog. She was mildly entertained by it. I think the narrator's voice had an undue influence on my fragile 4 year-old mind because now I'm getting married to an English guy. Wait, 7 year-old mind considering it came out in the US in 1989. It'd be interesting to see the 1986 Japanese version.

AWWWWW, so cute! I remember seeing Milo & Otis at the movie theater when it first came out. It has to be one of the cutest, heartwarming movies ever. Get well, Natalie and do like MK says - watch this movie at least 12 x in a row. Hope it helps :)
