Sienna Miller is one of the people who grates on my nerves. When it was revealed that Jude Law was boinking the nanny, my first thought was, 'WTF are the media making her the victim?' Any woman who is dumb enough to hook up with a married man and not expect him to cheat on her is a moron. Period. Oh, and she was totally lapping up the PR and sympathy she got from that.

Yeah, but I wonder if there were a Balthazar post if he would be attacked as viciously as Sienna. I doubt it because when there's a post featuring the two of them, 90% of the comments are about Sienna.
They are both to blame for this assuming there was real cheating going on (and yes, I think there was), but Balthy deserves a bit more contempt than Sienna because HE has more of an obligation to HIS family than Sienna does. Yep, I agree. I mean, just playing Devil's Advocate, we don't know that Balthy didn't fib a bit. I mean, he could have told Sienna that divorce papers had been filed, but the divorce wasn't finalized yet or some shit like that, so I think the whole "separated" status is relevant depending on what Sienna really believed. Yes, it's the smart thing to do to wait until the divorce is final and blah, blah, blah, but people do dumb things for love. Do I believe that's what happened? I respectfully disagree... I can't speak for everyone, but I don't believe that's "just what men do." I hold men to equally high standards as women. I don't think the backlash is because she's a woman -- I think it's because she's been cheated on (very publicly), garnered a lot of sympathy for it, and then turned around and had a string of short, shallow relationships, and most recently, pictures of herself topless and gallivanting around with a married father of 4.

Look at John Edwards. Are people saying, "Oh, he's just a man, it's okay that he cheated?" I don't think so, and if they are, they're idiots.
