Dr. Dre Has Lost A Son
Sad news this afternoon. Dr. Dre's 20-year-old son passed away over the weekend. Andre Young Jr. was found by his mother Saturday morning at their home in Woodland Hills, CA.
Andre was out with his friends the night before and came home at around 5:30 in the morning. His mother called the paramedics when she couldn't wake him. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
An autopsy was performed yesterday in Los Angeles. Andre's cause of death is not known at this time.
Dr. Dre's rep confirmed the news to People: "Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son. Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time." Sadness.
Rest in peace, Andre Young Jr.

It's a sad situation. I like Dr. Dre, always have.
On the flip side, Stoney has a point. If you're parent(s) are known drug users, there is a big chance (NOT 100% MIND YOU)that you probably have dabbled in it yourself, maybe moved onto a harder drug...so it's not so far fetched as to Dre Jr. having past away from some kind of overdose.
Regardless, the pain cuts deep either way

that's why it's smart to have a living will specifying no extraordinary measure as well as burn-and-urn, AND get with a funeral home to make the party/memorial service arrangements -- no matter what your age.

Seriously...being alive is sometimes the most aweful thing so you think, death HAS to be better than this right? Can finally be free of the weight of the world and just do sh*t. I dont think death is a time for sadness, we'll all die...and maybe we'll get to see the sones we love in the afterlife and be with them forever...so we should celebrate when someone dies because its a release from the horrors of this world and the beginning of possibly something much greater!

I feel ya, life can be far worse than death, and I feel that death is just the exit to something else/another side of life. Just too much evidence in the universe pointing that way.
BUT, that said, life is unbeatable in its highs and cool valleys of contentment when they come along. So I'm in no hurry to kick open the exit door, will happen soon enough.
