Hey, I am TOTALLY with you. And also, I am a registered Republican as well, but I would vote Democrat if there was one I liked. The only one I ever did like was Bill Bradley, but I was too young to vote for him, and he didn't even get the nomination, so whatever. All the rest are disgusting. Oh, but Biden is OK....don't love him or anything, but he's not too bad.

All of this political discussion reminds me of a saying:

"If you're not a liberal before age 40, you don't have a heart, if you're not a conservative after 40, you don't have a brain". I'm 26, and a lifelong pretty hardcore Republican (not on all issues, of course, I'm pro-choice, an atheist, and pro-unions), but I've never claimed to have a heart, so it doesn't matter. I'd rather be heartless than naive and dumb enough to believe anything that Obama is actually for "change" and "hope". Yeah right, all that shit is is clever buzzwords that don't mean shit. But people still buy it....no wonder the rest of the world thinks Americans are dumb.

I have, it was unbelievable the support my family and his wife and daughter recieved. The community and the country showed their absolute best. It really was overwhelming. The Patriot guard are heroes the people really recognize as much as they should. They deserve so much respect for what they do.

Actually, it was during Clinton's last year in office that the FBI was given several warnings that 9/11 was going to take place. Clinton's people chose to ignore those warnings and just as Bush took power, that is when the events occurred. It amazes me that people blame Bush for something that could have been stopped before he entered the White House.

This is absolutely a disgusting statement. I get what you were trying to say, but show some respect to the dead. I disagree with why we are in Iraq, but no matter anyone's opinion of the war, we have ended up helping a country develop and have a much better way of life. My brother was killed in action last April, and i can guarantee you that he was not "cannon fodder." He was a West Point Nuclear engineer who's company helped establish schools for girls, established waste management systems in cities and did nothing but care about these people.

Come on, Mrs. K. I know this is a heated debate right now, but to say he was "murdered" by the Republicans is almost as bad as the Hitler comparison we are complaining about. There is no proof of that, just a conspiracy theory that has never been held up by even a shred of proof. In fact, the NTSB later determined that the likely cause of the accident was the "failure of both the pilot and copilot to maintain a safe minimum airspeed, leading to a stall from which they could not recover."

I really wish that Democrats would understand one thing: those of us who don't particularly like the "Old Boys Club" that the Republican Party has often been rightly accused of being, dislike even MORE the hypocrisy of the "do as I say, not as I do" liberal viewpoint. Sorry Mrs K...i do not agree. Soldiers willingly go into service KNOWING that they will be called to duty(and maybe even die). I get so sick of hearing about how they are FORCED to go to war. Its unfortunate that they have to be over in awful conditions...but that is what we are fighting for...to end those awful conditions and give the people something to be proud of and to live for(not to mention keep those terrorists at bay).
